If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $700   Glinda is a 1 year old Westie x Maltese mix who is excited to make you her new project… it’s what makes her so nice! Glinda the Good Witch was found abandoned in a field with her Wicked pals. They were found by a good sumaritan who brought them to our rescue where we promised to lead them down the Yellow Brick Road to their forever homes in Oz! Glinda weighs 8 pounds and is just as adorable as can be. She’s ready to “toss toss” her cute-as-a-button ears and launch herself into your life with a flick of her magic wand. Let her make you the most ‘Popular’ person on the block and adopt Miss Glinda!    Glinda is a sweet and cuddly gal who is ready to find her very own Emerald City home! She adores her people and is content to spend as much time as possible by your side. As she has come out of her shell, she’s gotten more curious about the world around her and will eagerly check out new humans or dogs. Once she’s said hi, she’s ready to zoom around for a bit until she’s ready for a nap (ideally cuddled up in your arms). Glinda leaps with joy when she wants to show off her squeaky toys but is also a top-notch lounger. If she thinks you’re ready to cuddle, she happily rolls right onto her back for a long session of belly rubs. Glinda is just the cutest little gal in the world who wins over everyone she meets. Dogs like her are the reason rescue is so rewarding. We get to see dogs emerge from their dirty and matted prior lives and discover all the good that the world has in store for them, from toys to treats to snuggles. She can’t wait to meet you and get her Oz-ian adventure started!  Glinda wakes up around 7 AM and goes right outside to practice potty. She then zooms back into the warm living room for breakfast and playtime with her ever-growing pile of plush toys. She goes out again for potty before heading into her pen for a nap while her foster mom heads to work. She keeps herself occupied quietly with toys and her soft blankets until her early evening stroll. She has dinner and then spends the rest of her evening cuddled up or playing with her toys. After one last potty trip, she heads into her pen for the night. Glinda has previously lived with other dogs. She would be fine as either a solo pup or in a home with a relaxed other dog. She’s learning the “leash” thing still but is progressing by the day. She would benefit from additional training and socialization work as she gains her confidence. If you’re ready to defy gravity and start your adventure in the sky, adopt Miss Glinda!      Glinda is an option for homes with prior dog experience. Kids should be over the age of 9. December 17, 2024, 4:45 am

Hashtag was surrendered to the shelter for reasons unknown but he went viral in our hearts and we knew we couldn’t leave without him! Hashtag has a low and low type of body that we think could be… Corgi? Dachshund? Who knows! He weighs 12 pounds and is ready to show you how he can get down and dance! If you’re ready to find the #bestdoggo in the entire world, you’ve found him with Hashtag!      Hashtag is an incredibly gentle, sweet, happy, and loving dog who is as handsome as he is amazing! Whoever is lucky enough to meet him instantly falls madly in love with him, and we get it! Hashtag loves his toys and would be thrilled to find a pile of plushies in his forever home. He adores the outdoors and spends hours basking in the sun birdwatching. Hashtag is the perfect family dog as he just wants to be wherever his people are as often as he can! He would love to take on all the adventures the world has in store for him, as he has boundless energy and an enthusiasm for exploration. Hashtag delights his foster humans with his curiosity and his love of snuggles. He has a sunny personality that never fails to brighten even the dreariest winter days. According to his foster parents, Hashtag is one of their favorite fosters ever, which is the highest compliment a foster come could ever offer!  Hashtag wakes up at 7 AM and gives morning greetings to everyone in the household before he heads out to the backyard for potty. He goes on a morning walk and then eats his breakfast. During the day, Hashtag plays with his foster siblings and naps on repeat. He loves his afternoon snack time which he enjoys before his evening walk. After dinner, he hangs out in the living room as he starts to unwind from a busy day of being a handsome dude! He goes out for one last potty and then heads to bed around 9 PM.  Hashtag lives with other dogs and gets along fabulously with them. He walks very well on the leash and greets his canine neighbors politely. Hashtag is fully potty trained and crate trained. He is super smart and would be the star of any training class as he is food and attention motivated. Ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Adopt Hashtag!      Hashtag is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 7.December 20, 2024, 3:15 pm
