Story
Looking for a snuggle buddy with a playful spirit? Tate’s your guy! This sweet, soft teddy bear loves nothing more than curling up with you—preferably as close as possible, like on your face or neck (he’s all about that close contact). He’s a loyal, loving cuddle bug with a bit of goofy charm—those long limbs of his still trip him up sometimes, making for some pretty hilarious puppy antics! Tate’s an active pup who thrives on playtime. Tug of war? Yes, please! Puzzle toys, snuffle balls, and lick mats? He’s all about it! He’s become much more confident in play and now wrestles happily with his big doggy foster brother. Keep him active and engaged, and you’ll have one happy pup! He’s making great progress with training—he’s mastered come, sit, and down and is working on stay. Leash walking is much improved—he’s not pulling as much and isn’t doing as much side-to-side wandering. Crate training is also coming along nicely. He’s a bit noisy at first but settles down quickly. Plus, he’s fully potty trained! Tate is gaining confidence every day. He used to be a little nervous around other dogs, but he now plays confidently with his 95-pound foster brother and takes corrections well. That said, he’s still working on some manners—he tends to sneak food from his buddy’s bowl, so he’ll need patient supervision when sharing space with other dogs. Tate is great with kids and has lived with older boys (9 and 11) while also meeting younger kids (4 to 12) with no issues—just lots of sweet kisses and gentle snuggles. This affectionate boy thrives on routine and guidance. He looks to his humans for direction and is eager to learn. A home that’s committed to consistent training and patient boundaries will help him blossom into the confident, well-mannered dog he’s meant to be. Tate is ready to find a family who will love him for his sweet, silly self. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you laughing and melt into your arms at the end of the day, Tate might be the perfect fit!
