Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great.My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great.My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait.
