This boy and his brother were found by a Park Ranger wondering in a field, starving. They were brought to us and nursed back to health. These boys are just sweethearts! Otto is a bit more vocal and loves attention. He likes to play and is excited about everything. He would be great to have on any adventure and will need an active family to keep him busy. He is just go go go. He is just a baby who needs lessons in all things puppy and the patience that goes with it. He is learning not to jump up on people but will need help with it so small kids will need to be careful. He acts before he thinks, just like a small kid. He is just a sweet, fun pure puppy that is ready for a family to love fully and be with forever. He is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

He's a young, handsome guy whose pleading eyes are irresistible! This poor boy was once a stray, who was adopted, but now his owner is no longer able to keep him. With love and care, he's a wiggly and happy boy. Buddy leans into pettings and asks for affection. He is a precious dog who needs a home with folks that give him lots of love while he settles in. Buddy truly loves "his humans" and drinks in affection. He's super at riding in the car. And he lives with two other dogs in his foster home. We think, however, that he would do truly best as being an only dog in the home. Come and meet him and you'll fall in love!

Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Some dogs come to us with very special needs and BamBam is one of those dogs.  While he is a playful pup full of energy and affection, he is also extremely fearful of the world.  This fear can manifest into making him protective and reactive.  As his anxiety traits present a challenge, a quiet, experienced and patient home is required to address his needs.  He should also be in a home without children or other pets.  Among his many positive qualities, he is quiet, house trained, crate trained, and he will sit nicely and lift his paw for a treat.  He is extremely shy when meeting new people but once BamBam feels comfortable, he will be your loyal companion forever!    **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org.
