Story
Meet Pearl! A beautiful 2-year-old Weimaraner who’s on the lookout for her forever home. Pearl was surrendered with her two pups, but they’ve already found their families, and now it’s her turn to shine. While she can be a bit nervous around new faces, once she trusts you, she’ll be your best friend—ready to curl up in your lap for all the love and attention you can give. This sweet girl has a lot of love to offer, but she’ll need someone patient to help her feel comfortable and safe in her new environment. Pearl is also a very athletic dog with a curious nature, so she’s not shy about jumping fences if given the chance. A secure yard would be essential for her. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’ll adore you once she gets to know you, Pearl might be your perfect match!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:  Babe Lincoln (LIN0325SOPMD)Estimated Breed:  Weimaraner mix Approximate Age:  9 weeks  Approximate Weight:  10 LBS Currently Living at:  Foster     Adoption Fee:  $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Hi there, I'm Babe Lincoln. I am part of the L Litter of ten cuties (Babe Leo, Babe Lime, Babe Lemonade, Babe Levi, Babe Lennox, Babe Lincoln, Babe Liam, Babe Luca, Babe Landon and Babe Lucinda). We came from a rural part of Georgia. Thankfully, we have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and given a second chance in life. While I have loved living with my siblings in the BIG puppy pile, I am now ready to find my very own home. Could that be with you? I'm your typical sweet and friendly puppy. I am very playful and just love other dogs too. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization. I will make an amazing addition to an active home. Submit an application today!  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
This boy and his brother were found by a Park Ranger wondering in a field, starving. They were brought to us and nursed back to health. Otto is a bit more vocal and loves attention. He likes to play and is excited about everything. He would be great to have on any adventure and will need an active family to keep him busy. He is just go go go. He is just a baby who needs lessons in all things puppy and the patience that goes with it. He is learning not to jump up on people but will need help with it so small kids will need to be careful. He acts before he thinks, just like a small kid. He is just a sweet, fun pure puppy that is ready for a family to love fully and be with forever. He is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
