Because to Marina, your words matter. Your affection is everything. Marina is a 51lb doberman shepherd mix who we believe is about 2 years old. Due to her being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But we know this for sure, she is a precious affirmation seeker who will do her best to make you a happy pet parent! She lives for human connection. Marina lives in an apartment with her foster parents, but her temperament would absolutely thrive with a yard to stretch out and play. She is very playful and lights up when she’s around her people. She’s wonderful in the car, not one for drama, and has a calm presence that makes travel easy. This beautiful girl has done well with every dog (and cat) she’s met. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there!
