Story
As Vader enters his later years, the cuddly force is strong with this one. He's an 8-year-old gent who still has plenty of energy to play and bring joy to his forever family, and will chill, too. He's a master with kids. Vader will play with other dogs, too, and enjoys a wide range of toys. He's awesome in his crate, on a leash, or riding in a car. He's not a fan of cats - those rebel scum - so it's best to keep them on the farthest edge of the galaxy. For now, he's on a limited diet, so treats are verboten (but he is a fan). He can be a bit of a couch potato, but all the better if his people are sitting next to him. This beautiful boy will thrive in a family with other dogs, or even as the center of the universe. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Meet JuneBug (formerly Kimber), a charming 4-year-old, 55-pound, Weimaraner with a heart full of love and a personality that's sure to steal yours. This lovely lady is the epitome of a velcro dog, always eager to lie at your feet and keep you company as you work from home. She does display hip dysplasia and can do the splits better than any cheerleader! She is crate-trained (although some separation anxiety) and walks wonderfully on a leash. She enjoys doing check-ins with you during walks, adding a touch of sweetness to your daily strolls. Her hip dysplasia gives her a unique little hop when she walks or runs, making her even more endearing. Initially a bit skittish around men, JuneBug has blossomed into a calm and sweet companion who adores her people. She has grown to love her walks and gets excited when it's time to go out, making every outing a joyful experience. JuneBug is great with other dogs and kids, making her a fantastic addition to a family. While we are unsure of cats, her gentle nature suggests she could adapt with time and patience. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate friend who will always be by your side, JuneBug is the perfect match for you. She is being fostered in the DFW metroplex if you are interested. ##1972759##

Hunter is a 50 lbs bundle of love and is about 1.5 years old.  He LOVES his humans and just wants to please you and make you happy. He was found in an industrial area begging for food. He would be best as an only dog and in a home with older children.  Donate at codysfriendsrescue.org to help us save more lives! https://codysfriendsrescue.org/donate ##837585##

Story
Miller is a beautiful 3 year old Weimeraner mix with a friendly and active personality. I adopted this dog from the Lubbock animal shelter my sophomore year of college, and he has become my best friend since. Unfortunately now that I graduated and am working full time, I struggle to find the time to give this dog the attention he deserves. Miller is house trained, knows basic commands, and is not a barker (except for the occasional mailman). He loves playing with other dogs, and does excellent with cats and young children. Miller has a lot of energy and a strong hunting instinct. He requires 2-3 hours of exercise a day, whether it’s walking/running or playing with other dogs. Once he has been exercised, he loves to cuddle on the couch or sleep for the rest of the day. I am looking to re-home Miller to a family that has the time and willingness to give him the attention he deserves. This would be a great family dog for a young and active family.
