She does have mild hip dysplasia, and she has a unique little hop when she walks or runs. She is crate-trained (although some separation anxiety) and walks wonderfully on a leash. Initially JuneBug was a bit skittish around men, but has blossomed into a calm and sweet companion who adores her people. Bear is a two year old, 78 lb Catahoula mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. Bear's name fits him perfectly. He looks like a bear, acts silly like Yogi Bear, and is sweet and cuddly like a Teddy Bear. He is a regular visitor at Camp BowWow and loves playing with the other dogs. Bear is strong like a bear too, so he needs an adopter who can handle him on leash. His leash manners have improved a lot, and walking him on a harness is a must. Bear is potty and crate trained. He would love to sleep in bed with his people but is content to sleep on a soft dog bed in their room. We are recommending no kids under the age of 6, just due to Bear's size and strength. He loves going to the dog park and is friendly with every dog and person he meets. He also loves taking walks and has great leash manners. Again, friendly with every dog and person he meets along the way. He is a sweet boy that likes to play and then take a good long nap. His favorite toy is a good chew bone. Bodi is not great with cats. He probably just wants them to play with them, but most cats will have no interest in playing with a goofy puppy.
