Allow me to introduce Angel! We believe her to be a nine month old Weimaraner- Labrador mix. This precious girl is extremely smart.She can be a little timid at first, but she warms right up. Who can blame her for being a little leery in the beginning, as she was dumped at the prison like garbage.  Luckily for her, Walker State Prison is full of animal lovers.  A bunch of the employees spent five days feeding her and earning her trust. On the fifth day, her foster mama walked right up to her, and she immediately rolled over and gave her belly. We are so thankful for her foster for saving her and giving her the chance she deserves. This precious girl is truly a gem. Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
