Story
Meet Bullet, an energetic young male Weimaraner with a heart as big as his boundless enthusiasm. This friendly fellow loves nothing more than spending his days playing fetch, exploring the great outdoors, and showering his human companions with affection. Bullet's playful nature makes him an ideal companion for an active household that enjoys adventures and long walks. He's already received some basic training, so he has a good grasp of commands like sit, stay, and come. However, like any young pup, Bullet will benefit from continued training to hone his skills and strengthen the bond with his new family. When adopting Bullet, expect a loyal friend who will greet you with wagging tails and warm cuddles every day. Be prepared for plenty of exercise, as Weimaraner's are known for their high energy levels and need for regular physical activity. Bullet thrives on human interaction and would do best in a home where someone can provide him with ample attention and love. Adopting a dog like Bullet means welcoming a loving companion into your life who will offer you joy, loyalty, and a lifetime of cherished memories. What to Expect When Adopting a Dog: Adopting a puppy like Bullet is a wonderful and rewarding experience, but it also comes with responsibilities. Here are a few things to keep in mind: Time and Patience: Puppies require a lot of attention and training. Story
Princess is an 10-month-old Pitbull/Weimaraner mix who is as loyal as she is lovely. With her soulful eyes, big floppy ears, and freckled chest, she’s impossible to ignore—and her sweet, playful personality will capture your heart in no time. A true Weimaraner at heart, Princess is incredibly devoted and loves to be near her people, whether on a walk, at the park, or relaxing at home. 🐾 She thrives on adventures like walks and park outings, always staying close to her person while making friends along the way. 🐕🌳 This social butterfly is living her best life in a foster home with kids, cats, and other dogs, proving she’s a gentle and adaptable companion. Her favorite pastime? Cozying up with the resident cats for a snooze. 🐱🛋️ In her foster home, Princess has proven to be a gentle, adaptable companion who gets along wonderfully with dogs, kids, and even cats. Potty trained and crate trained, Princess is ready for her next chapter. While she’s still polishing her leash manners, Princess is highly food-motivated, making her eager to learn and a joy to train. Princess is searching for a forever family committed to continuing her training, providing daily exercise, and showering her with the love she deserves. In return, she’ll bring endless joy, loyalty, and cuddles to your life. 🏡 Ready to give this royal pup her crown? Princess can’t wait to meet you and start your fairy tale together! ✨ Princess is still young, so she will need a family committed to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with leash training and provide daily exercise. 🏃‍♂️ We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Shadow is my name and adventure is my game! Want a hiking buddy? Look no further. Need a running partner? I got you, Dawg! Want to feed me immense amount of treats while you watch me sit? I'll eat them all and beg for more! I love all the people and enjoy smelling all the things. I'm a bit of a goofball, so I hope you like to laugh! I'll have you giggling in no time Shadow is a 1-2 year old Catahoula Leopard Pit mix. He can come on strong when meeting new dogs, so we think he would be best either as an only dog, or with a Beta dog who will let him be in charge. He has stunning eyes and a sweet personality. He is eager to learn and please. He is also very food motivated. If you train him, he will excel to be an amazing dog. His kennel manners suggest he may already have excellent bathroom etiquette. He has some tricks already up his paw. He knows how to sit, give paw, down, roll over and crawl. We have no idea how he would be with cats or small animals. We think that his energy would be better for children over 10. If you are interested in Shadow please fill out our adoption application. https://form.jotform.com/223087866890167
