Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Hi there! I'm Duster, an almost 6-year-old, 140 lb Weimaraner, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! I love spending time outdoors, so I'd be happiest in a place with a big, spacious backyard-especially out in the country where I can run and play to my heart's content! I'm a sweet and smart boy who adores kids, gets along great with cats, and enjoys the company of other dogs too. Even though I'm not a senior just yet, I still have plenty of energy and love to share! I'm pretty good on a leash and I absolutely LOVE car rides! Plus, I'm crate-trained and know the command "kennel." When new people come to visit, I might get a bit excited, but with a little patience and training, I know I can learn to feel more relaxed around them. It helps if strangers approach me slowly and gently. My previous owner always said I'm emotionally intelligent and full of joy when I'm surrounded by my favorite humans. I can't wait to meet you and start our adventure together!

He’s the most adventurous and most affectionate dog at the sanctuary! He’d love to either cuddle with you by a cozy fire or join you on your next 10 mile run! He’s always up for everything as long as he’s with you. Hide your snacks tho because Cooke will certainly find them! He’s a smart boy who loves to learn and would like a home with someone who will continue his training to help him reach his goal, which is to become the best boy ever! Cooke loves all dogs but definitely feels more confident around females than males. Cooke is sometimes shy at first, so kids 6+ will suit him best but after a few days of building trust he will never leave your side! My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

So Arika is an unusual name, right?? Well, yes it is!! It actually means "ruler of ALL" and I identify with that feeling :D OK, I am not the ruler of all, but I am the ruler of ALL my friends! We have kind of a democratic system set up...... I tell them what to do and they LISTEN and they do what they want! So, that is the level of my "ruler-ness". However, I have a lot more to offer than just rules and regulations.... I HAVE LOVE! You see, I know love and I know despair...my daughter Mika and I were found on the streets, eating trash and anything we could get our faces on.... until the day that a "street feeder/rescuer" found us. From that day forward we had HOPE... And here we are in the rescue and thriving! I rule all my friends and we are now just waiting for our furever homes. I am a big girl, kind of deceivingly... I don't look that big but weigh in over 70# I am great with other dogs- big and small, as long as they want to play and hang out, I am down with that... My bestest home would be with another playful dog and kids please :) So I am here waiting, and RULING, and waiting for you to find me! I will let you in on a little secret too... I HAVE A HEART ON MY SIDE :D So you will have a reminder to all that dogs offer to your life every time you look at my side. Sign the contract and adopt me soon!!!
