Canyon is a Silver Lab/ Weinheimer lab mix. We believe that he is about 6mths old. He is UTD on all shots and was recently neutered. He is about 38lbs. He looks so huge in his photos but he’s just a little guy that has a lot more growing to do. He is still working on potty training because when he came into rescue he was found dumped along with his siblings in rural MO. He is also learning to sit. He is such a loving puppy and wants to be where his people are. He will lay on you all day if you let him and loves to snuggle in the recliner with you. He is so good with all other fur babies. When he isn't snuggling with his humans, he loves to run around the yard and play with toys. Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

He was brought to us by a Louisiana shelter in need of help. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he loves to play football (just watch his video)!
