Story
Well Hello, My name is Stones. I am the most handsome fellow you have ever met! My active family taught me many things: playing fetch, loving children, being a couch potato, going for car rides, and most importantly, pleasing my family. I am also house-trained and crate-trained. My ideal family is active, wants to include me in adventures, and loves snuggling on the couch. I have heard about families attending LaCross games, football games, and BBQs and bringing their furry family members. This includes going for hikes, picking apples, playing in the leaves, or running around in the snow like we have any sense. This is what I am looking for. Please request an application to begin the adoption process. Once the application is completed, you must submit your refundable deposit ($200), which indicates your intentions of adoption. The first person who completes both the application and deposit is the first person who is considered to adopt me. To place your refundable deposit ($200), Venmo @carla-carlton-1, Cashapp $carlrescue, Zelle 501-247-4186, or PayPal glennandcarla@g5i.net Stones Male Neutered Breed: Weimaraner Age: 6 years Weight: 75lbs Color: Mousey-silver Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Kids 16 +Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLilac is a sweet, lazy girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can play some fetch and then curl up in the dog bed and take a nap (her two favorite things). Lilac is wonderful with other dogs when properly introduced, and she loves to play. She would love a fenced yard to romp in. She can be leash reactive to new dogs, and though she has improved with training, this will always be something she needs to work on. For this reason, proper intros are a must with her.  She is also ecollar trained. so her perfect home would continue this training with her. She excels with structure and routine.Where Lilac still struggles greatly is with meeting new people in the home. Outside the home, and even a the vet, she is generally fine. When people that she does not know very very well come into the home, Lilac should be crated, leashed, or muzzled. She needs to be slowly introduced to new people, but once she gets to know you very very well, she's all in and is the kissiest, snuggliest girl.  She is even very sweet to pretty much everyone while muzzled, so that's an easy fix to keep her safe.  When people she does not know come into the home, she can get vocal,  but when introduced while muzzled she does fine.  Because of her reactivity to new people, a single family home is the best fit for her. She would not do well in an apartment. Lilac has had a long road, and while she has come a long way, she is very much still a work in progress. With the right family she will do just fine.Lilac's issues have happened in the past when her intros to new people coming into the home were not controlled.  So I can't emphasize enough that she needs to take it slow with new people :) But she will reward you for sure once you get to know her. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
