Meet Guinness with the gorgeous eyes!! He traveled all the way from Texas to find his forever home here in PA. He is estimated to be around a year old and weighs in at 40lbs. He could use to gain a few pounds. He is dog friendly, cat friendly, crate trained, house trained, and travels well. We feel he would do great with an active person who likes to hike or run. Guinness is very sweet but shy and timid so he needs someone with patience to help build his confidence. Another dog in the home would be a great benefit to him. We recommend a fenced yard and no small children. He is up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered next month. Guinness is being fostered in Littlestown, PA. Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

He is about 4 or 5 years old. An English Pointer Hound we think. Very affectionate and smart, loves to cuddle. Has some separation anxiety. He is good with kids, very tolerant of them. Cats he is good with once you go through the introduction process, he got on well enough with our elderly cat. He has some food and toys protectiveness, particularly with other animals. I would recommend a fenced-in yard since he is used to one. He’s looking for a place where he’ll be loved unconditionally and can build his confidence at his own pace. Pancake would prefer a home without any other dogs, and would thrive in a quiet environment. If you are interested in meeting Pancake, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
