Story
Due to accelerated RTO mandates, Max our handsome 2-year-old Weimaraner is looking for a home that can best suit his needs. He is blue in color and roughly 75lbs. He is currently intact but is scheduled to be neutered on 13 March. Max has been around young children his whole life. Max is tolerant of them but will give verbal queues when he needs his space. Max lives to be outside. He loves to run and fetch. He will play for as long as you let him. He walks well on a leash, loves hiking, great camping, loves the snow and attacking the sprinkler. Max is shy and timid at first but does warm up. He has been socialized with other dogs at dog parks and doggie daycare. Having another 4 legged friend could be nice but Max would be perfectly happy with his person. Weims are true velcro dogs, and Max is no exception. Max does have anxiety when left alone and currently does not utilize a kennel. Max will need someone who is patient that can help him gain confidence. Max is the absolute BEST!

Story
Meet Guinness with the gorgeous eyes!! 4 weeks ago he began his adventure north and is learning how to be a domesticated dog. He has learned the routines of the day and enjoys walks with housemates. Daily he expresses more happiness and tail wags. Guinness is house trained, crate trained, and up to date on vaccines. His ideal home would be with another tolerant canine housemate and a quiet but active, patient human. Guinness is good with cats- barks when he wants them to play but no chasing. He loves Nylabones and cognitive Kong toys. He also enjoys car rides and outings with housemates for guidance and security. His neuter is scheduled 2/26 which may help with his anxiety and let him fill out. He is very shy around men. A rough beginning for this approximately 1 year old, thankfully this gentle boy has an opportunity to find his forever home. He is being fostered in Littlestown, PA Apply Now https://forms.gle/LDjduj2zTk7vvmHU7

I am part of the L Litter of ten cuties (Babe Leo, Babe Lime, Babe Lemonade, Babe Levi, Babe Lennox, Babe Lincoln, Babe Liam, Babe Luca, Babe Landon and Babe Lucinda). We came from a rural part of Georgia. Thankfully, we have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and given a second chance in life. While I have loved living with my siblings in the BIG puppy pile, I am now ready to find my very own home. Could that be with you? I'm your typical sweet and friendly puppy. I am very playful and just love other dogs too. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization. I will make an amazing addition to an active home. Submit an application today!  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
This boy and his brother were found by a Park Ranger wondering in a field, starving. They were brought to us and nursed back to health. Otto is a bit more vocal and loves attention. He likes to play and is excited about everything. He would be great to have on any adventure and will need an active family to keep him busy. He is just go go go. He is just a baby who needs lessons in all things puppy and the patience that goes with it. He is learning not to jump up on people but will need help with it so small kids will need to be careful. He acts before he thinks, just like a small kid. He is just a sweet, fun pure puppy that is ready for a family to love fully and be with forever. He is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
