Story
Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend - and, hey, so am I! I don't care how old you are or what you look like, but in case those things matter to you, I'm approximately 4 years old and that's me in the picture, the handsome dog with the shiny tan coat. My perfect match would be someone who loves to run and could lob a tennis ball for me to catch. I don't mean to brag, but people tell me I'm a lot like Chris Evan in Captain America because I'm super fit, have mad fetch skills and am America's sweetheart. So, what do you say? Wanna be besties?________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Ash is filled with personality and energy. He will be the life of any party. Have loved and adored my boy for a long time but am needed to make changes due to a busy lifestyle and small, active children. Hoping to see my boy with a new owner that will enjoy and cherish Ash as much as I have. He is such a light and will bring plenty of joy to his new owner.

Story
Eli is a very sweet 3 year old German Shepherd/Catahoula mix. He loves people, kids, other dogs and gets along well with cats too. He is energetic and loves to run and play at the park alone or with other dogs. He is very obedient on walks and he really is a wonderful dog. When he is home, he loves relaxing in his bed and enjoying his favorite toys and bones. An ideal home for Eli would be one where he is loved and given the opportunity to go to the park or on walks. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you!

Story
Well, hey there, I’m Anaphora!I’m a 6-month-old Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog with a heart as big as the bayou and a coat as pretty as a sunset on the Mississippi. I might be a little shy when we first meet—what can I say, a Southern girl takes her time—but give me a moment, and I’ll be all cuddles and tail wags.I feel my bravest when I’ve got a furry friend by my side or a human who loves to snuggle. When I know I’m safe, my playful, sweet side shines brighter than fireflies on a summer night. I’ll stick close to your heart (and maybe your lap, too—I’m not picky!).I’m a little piece of Louisiana charm wrapped up in a soft, cuddly package, and I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a loving companion to fill your days with sweetness and snuggles, then sugar, I think we might just be perfect for each other. Let’s make it official, cher!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Story
Meet Annie, the most perfect 15 pound dog stuck in a 75 pound body that you will ever meet. Annie was living with her family and a Shih Tzu in a home pre-Ida. Their home was destroyed and they were forced to live in their car. As you can imagine, that wasn`t easy. Her family made the difficult decision to surrender her to us in the hopes of finding appropriate housing for her. When haven`t had any luck yet...probably because of her size. Annie is exuberant and loves life. She is treat motivated and wants to do everything to please her human. She is house trained and great on leash, once her initial excitement is over. Her 2 former fosters gave her glowing reviews on her house manners. Please consider fostering or adopting this big girl. She is up to date on shots, microchipped, spayed and promised to make you smile each and every day. Ten months is too long to find a home for this Ida survivor. She deserves more. Thanks. Michelle
