Sequoia had her puppies alone, in the woods. She and her puppies were caught by KC Dog Trappers and taken to KC Pet Project who called us to see if we could help. We took in the family and cared for momma and all 8 puppies. They were the National Park Puppies. The puppies were all adopted last spring but momma is still waiting for a home. Sequoia has a heart of gold. She loves to be with her human or her doggie BFF. She is on the shy side and submissive. She relies on her BFF to understand the world and know how to be a dog. She has made great strides in the last couple of months and is emerging from her shell. She walks great on the leash and loves to be outside. She is potty trained and uses the doggie door. She occasionally brings us gifts in the way of bunnies and squirrels. She would do best in a home with another dog that she can bond with.

Meet Iris, a lovable bundle of energy who *LOVES* walks! Her tail wags non-stop like she’s living her best life. She does pull on the leash, but with some consistent training, she’s improving every day. Iris was surrendered with Daisy. She is also dog-friendly with other dogs and we saw that firsthand at Petsmart when a dog was so eager to meet her! Her tail was wagging the whole time as she tried to get closer for a sniff – she’s just a friendly girl! 🐶💕 She’s not afraid of new people and is always happy to meet them, but she’s focused on her walks and loves to keep moving! 🐾 Iris is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Story
Please help: BONDED PAIR! 6 year old siblings; Catahoula/Border Collie mix. Due to divorce situation - I am no longer able to give these beautiful babies the attention and effort that they deserve. Prior to this year, we almost always had someone home (ex worked from home and I homeschooled), so they would do well in a home that has someone home more. They do go to their kennels just fine, but get very sad being in there for more than a few hours at a time (neglect-trauma from past owners). They love being outside, so a fenced yard with frequent outings is a must. They do really well with kids, but not super gentle with young ones. They do not like small dogs or any other small animals (pretty sure they’ll try to eat them). They are very food motivated, but struggle with recall when stimulus is present (particularly squirrels). Remus (male) is sweet, goofy, playful. Sirius (female) is clever and your best friend if you pet her. We want the very best for them! Please consider helping!
