Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

This sweet girl is incredibly docile and gentle, making her a wonderful companion. She gets along fantastically with other dogs and plays nicely, showing her friendly and adaptable nature.Laundry spent time in her finder’s home, where she was around kids, and she did great! She’s also making excellent progress with potty training. - Very sweet boy who loves going on walks around the shelter - here's what a volunteer said about him recently: "I took Harvey on a walk today, and he did fantastic! He's a very handsome man. Super curious and definitely still has lots of energy despite being older! He's an absolute sweetheart!"- Was a super sweet guy when our staff dressed him up in reindeer antlers - he didn't mind one bit! - Knows sit, stay and lay down and was crate-trained- Previous family said he prefers a quiet environment - Does not have much tolerance for young children and really prefers that they leave him alone, so he's looking for a teens-and-up home right now- Had done well at dog parks/daycare in his previous home; may tend to avoid some other dogs if he's not feeling comfortable (dog intro recommended) - All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
