Story
Arlo was picked up as a stray and found himself in an overcrowded animal control facility. After his stray hold he came into our rescue where he has been wonderful! He Loves to run and play with other dogs, loves kids and knows some basic commands. He is still learning how to kennel quietly, but he is a fast learner. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and just wants to be in your lap giving kisses. He has a beautiful blue tricolor coat and amber eyes, all the better to steal your heart with!November 15, 2024, 2:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Melissa (812caremlemm@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Full of Love, Happiness and EnergyMeet NalaNala is full of love and joy. She loves everyone she meets. She loves getting pets and attention. She loves to give kisses and thinks she needs to climb up in your lap and face to do that. She is blissfully happy about anything and everything. Nala is a high energy girl who loves playing fetch in the yard. Most of the time she will bring the ball back to you. Other times she decides she only wanted to chase it, not retrieve it. Nala would love a home with a yard she can run, jump and play in. Nala is fast and will jump over any obstacle with ease. She would love someone to train her on an agility course. Nala is learning the sit command. She is very treat motivated. Food/Snacks/Treats are another one of Nala's favorites. Basically there isn't anything she doesn't like. Nala is fully house and crate trained. She is working on her leash manners. She loves going for walks and doesn't pull. Howerver there are times she doesn't understant that she doesn't need to be jumping in your face as you are trying to walk her. She seriously has springs for legs. Nala does pretty well in the car, however she does require being crated or having someone sit in the seat next to her. Otherwise she believese she can help you drive. Nala would do best in a home with more submissive dogs as she does have some instances of resource  guarding. She would also do fine with older children or ones who are used to a high energy, jumpy dog. Nala will also require  a privacy fence. As she proved while recently being boarded anything less than that she will escape. If she can't jump it, she will scale it. Nall is spayed, microchipped, current on monthly preventatives and yearly vacciens. Nala is heartworm negative. **Nala's breed is a best guess! She is medium sized with a tall slender frame. She has a gorgeous and unique coat. She is a charcoal grey with hints of brindle and white.**Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 5:57 pm

Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Nibs is "happy, joyful and debonair, possibly the bravest Lost Boy. He was named after Nibs, a Lost Boy from Peter Pan. You see our Nibs seems to be deaf and being a deaf, young puppy is scary but Nibs is very brave about it. He is a big derpy boy. He is awesome and comical! You will need to watch out for his big feet because he will step right on yours. Nibs will body lean for pets and his tail wags will show you how happy he is... so happy you will need to watch out because it will snap you like a whip. Nibs wants to be friends and loved by everyone! Cats, he can be curious but will run scared and knock down anyone is his way at the first sign of any aggression. Dogs, he loves them all but can be a bit much for them being deaf. He doesn't hear their verbal cues but has learned quickly how to read their body language. Kids, while he does well with everyone, toddlers can be unpredictable and with Nibs being deaf a small child can be knockdown out of fear when he is startled but he adapts quickly and easily. Nibs does not jump on or lick you but he loves belly rubs. While he loves to play and can be a bulldozer, he enjoys relaxing and taking naps a lot. He likes all toys and fetches but either wants to play tug of war upon return or hides it. Give Nibs a hard chew like a nylabone or Himalayan cheese and he redirects very well with them. Nibs is super smart as well as a quick learner and has learned hand signs. He knows how to go (wherever someone points to: crate, room, outside, ETC), come (to the person signing), sit, lay down and he is doing well with No (when he needs to calm from play inside or when he wants to hump). Nibs gets overly excited and does try to hump things, mainly blankets or one of the other dogs. He redirects easily with a tap and the sign for no. It has actually become A-LOT more rare these days. He is overall the sweetest, most chill, energy filled to lazy snuggle boy. He loves being around his people but will dart back with new introductions. He likes to sniff and get chin pets but not reaching over his head. He learns so much through smell and sight because he cannot hear. Once he says "hello you will find him either wanting to playful bow and get you to play with him or lean in for pets and love while taking a seat at your feet.

Story
I am a bit shy, but loving. Cats are not my favorite choice. I am really particular with my dog friends, so please bring your dog(s) to meet me first. Unsure how he is with kids.
