I'm very clean in my kennel but ofcourse I would need time to get used to your schedule so i know when to potty and when not to, I'm medium to low energy but i do appreciate my walks, I can be a bit picky when it comes to making friends, I don't appreciate a dog all over my face and I definitely don't like getting mounted, a proper introduction would be required, am I a good fit for you?

Hi! My name is Clover! I was rescued from South Dakota and brought to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue to find my FURever home. I arrived pregnant and had a litter of babies here at the Ranch, all of which are now adopted. I'm still waiting for my home, and I'm more than ready for my turn. I'm a super sweet and affectionate young lady with a heart full of love and a soft spot for tennis balls. Though I'm full grown, I could still be called a pup at heart due to my happy, fun-loving energy and the enjoyment I get from running around, a common trait amongst my breed. I can be a little over-excited about toys though, and I get a little mouthy, so I would prefer a home with grown ups or older kids who will be okay with an exuberant playmate. I could use some extra training but I keep clean in my kennel and I am very treat motivated, so I'm sure I can learn! If you'd like a best friend with a heart as golden as her eyeballs, I'm here to be your lucky Clover!

It's hard being a big senior dog in a shelter cause dogs like me tend to get passed over. But I promise if you give me a chance, I'll show you that I'm still full of love and joy. I'm a happy doggo with a great love of food. In fact, eating is quite possibly my favorite thing to do of all time, so I would like it if you could help me monitor my weight, please. When I arrived, I was going through a rough time recovering from being sick, but now I'm all good and ready to roll! After my struggles, I would say I've more than earned a nice bed in your home!

She is amazing full of life needs exercise she doesn’t do good with small animals or cats. She’s very anxious and loves to be loved on. Just needs someone with experience and patience. Lilo definitely needs a nice size yard. She does have anxiety and needs medicine when taking to vet and/or when having an event with a lot of people. Once she gets use to her new home and feels comfortable she won’t need medicine daily. She needs to feel safe.

Meet INKY!!! Our absolute staff favorite at the rescue! (Shhhh... don't tell the others!) This sweet boy is approaching 3 years old and has been with us for over a year. We truly don't know how he's still here because he is everything you could ever ask for in a dog. Inky has a personality that shines brighter than the rest. His sweet kisses and loving nature will steal your heart instantly-he craves your affection in the most endearing, non-demanding way. Despite his relatively large size (he's a big boy at 65lbs!) His soul is pure love and kindness, and everyone who meets him falls for his charming and affectionate demeanor. He's 100% house-trained and in all his time with us, he has never had a single accident-he's always clean and has never made a mess! Inky has truly impressed us with how polite and well-mannered he is. We can't understand why he's still waiting for his forever family. Someone out there is really missing out on the most affectionate, lovable dog with the best hugs and kisses. Inky is great with most of other dogs (prefers females), loves kids, and is great with everyone he meets. He loves outings and events, and is always a hit! While he enjoys his life here at the rescue, he deserves to know a life beyond the kennel walls-filled with love, adventure, and a family of his own.
