Story
Looking for a loyal, loving, and endlessly fun companion? Meet Rascal, a 3 yr. old Catahoula-Border Collie mix who is truly the full package! This medium-sized, neutered, and potty-trained sweetheart is ready to bring joy, adventure, and plenty of cuddles into his forever home.
Why You’ll Love Rascal:
Social & Friendly – Rascal adores kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s been a dog park regular, so he knows how to play nicely and make friends.
Leash Trained, Rides well in a Car and Well-Mannered – With private puppy training under his belt, he’s smart, well-behaved (will counter surf when left alone so food cannot be left out) and eager to please.
Playful & Energetic – High energy when it’s time to play, he loves fetch, toys, and outdoor adventures. But when the fun is done…Cuddle King – Rascal is also a laid-back, affectionate companion who will happily curl up beside you while you read, watch TV, or just relax.
No Cats, Please – While he doesn’t mean any harm, Rascal finds cats are fun to chase!
Why He Needs a Home:
Rascal was deeply loved, but his owner sadly and unexpectedly passed away. Now, he’s looking for a new family to give him the same love and devotion he’s always known.
If you’re ready for a sweet, fun-loving, and truly incredible dog to be part of your life, Rascal is waiting to meet you!
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
