MEET ROO!!! Roo is a happy, goofy mix!  There is nothing better than watching this sweet boy be goofy while he does zoomies across the backyard.  Although Roo is a bigger guy, he is VERY gentle, mild mannered and loves belly rubs!!  He is a bit of a "talker", but NOT a barker... he likes to talk to you.   Roo is very food motivated, so he's easy to teach new things! He takes treats very gently like a gentleman and is always up for a peanut butter filled toy!  Speaking of toys, the more the better! He is a playful pup who can entertain himself quite well with his own playthings. Roo comes with his special night night blanket, which he happily curls up with at night. Roo would need proper intros with other dogs or cats. If you are looking for a perfect companion or an addition to your family, complete an application and meet Roo! Story
Farley is a great family dog. We got him as a puppy from a family a we found on the AKC (American Kennel Club) he’s a pure bread Weim. Weims are know to be attached! They want to be where you are always, not good with being alone. Farley is exactly that. He sleeps in our bed, follows us into every room we go to, and he is not an outside dog (unless we are outside). Farley has lived with other dogs, with cats and with small kids and is great with all three& we’ve never had any issues. He does have pretty severe separation anxiety and needs someone who can be home more often than not. His anxiety leads him to scratch at the doors! He is not kennel trained or leash trained. He uses the dog door and loves to chase the birds.

These pups are in Gilbert, Arizona too!

Story
Meet Dale! He was hit by a car over a year + ago.  The vet said the outcome would’ve been better for him if he was treated asap once he was hit. Dale injured his spine when he was hit by a car in Costa Rica.  He was living on the farm in Costa Rica with lots of other dogs.  A few months before coming to the US he lived at home with a vet in order to get laser therapy more frequent, which were continuing here along with acupuncture.  Long term we hope he improves with continued physical therapy but it’s not a guaranteed due to how long ago his injury to was. He gets around great in a wheelchair, that’s how he got the name Dale (Earnhardt). Out of the wheelchair he gets around pretty well.  He wears a belly band in the house to prevent accidents and he will use the doggie door.  Personality wise he LOVES attention from anyone who will give it to him.  He’s a huge snuggler and will follow everyone around the house, just to stay close to them.  He does great with kids and is being fostered with 12 other dogs.  He deserves a chance at a real place to call home after having such a rough start. He is 1 of 8 dogs saved from Costa Rica and we hope we can give him a second chance at a great life. He will need a home that can continue with acupuncture and laser therapy. Please fill out an application on our website so a meet/greet and home check can be arranged. His adoption fee is $250.October 27, 2024, 1:16 pm

Story
About 8 years ago we rescued indie from a family that was going to euthanize her while she was under a year old. A member of my family was meant to take her with them when they moved out of my parents house, but instead left her behind. My parents have a big yard and 3 other dogs, not including indie. My parents basically have a mild to medium case of hoarding and have continued to collect items… and pets even if they do not have the room or emotional capacity for them. Indie is such a sweet dog, and when there is the time to really care for her, she flourishes. She’s great on walks, but never gets walked. She knows some tricks, but never gets to practice them. She knows her name and comes back when she’s called. We have about 20 chickens and she has learned not to mess with them. There’s some outside cats in my neighborhood and she knows not to chase them. With the right love and care, she is an absolutely amazing dog. Unfortunately my parents do not have the capacity to care for her
