Story
Meet Paisley - a pretty girl with a sad story. She had a family once, with kids and a yard and toys and treats and all the affection a dog could ever want. Unfortunately, a military deployment left her family in a difficult position. They had to move and were unable to bring Paisley with them. She's putting on a brave face but really wants a second chance at the good life. And she deserves it! Paisley adores people of all ages - she's extremely loving and affectionate and won't hesitate to request a belly rub. She's always up for a walk and is learning to enjoy the leash. She also rides well in the car. Although she's energetic, she's also content napping alongside a warm body on the couch, or bingeing on the latest Netflix series. She has lived with other dogs but would probably do best as an only. She was housebroken but has spent some time in boarding, so she may require some patience as she reacclimates to a home. Please consider opening your heart to this sweet girlie. You won't regret it. For more information, please TEXT Mary at 214-783-2060 and she'll call you back!

Story
Hi, my name is Jake, I’m a super affectionate Viszla looking to be re-homed. Being 7.5 years old I am house broken and can follow directions pretty well. The cold weather is not for me and I don’t like rain. Speaking of water I’m afraid of the lake and I don’t like to swim. That’s my boy Jake. A great companion, easy going and house broken. The issue Jake has is with noisy rain and thunder and lightning. Jake will climb doors and windows along with trying to get on top of tables. He basically feels the earth he stands on is not safe. This typically happens at night and can last for several hours. He will stay with you and follow you when he’s reacting to noise this way and medication makes him off balance but he powers through. I welcome your inquiry as I cannot keep him any longer, thank you for your time.

Story
Are you ready for more joy in your home? Look no further! We have a fantastic dog eagerly waiting to become your new best friend. Here's why Vida (nickname: Honey B) could be the perfect addition to your family: Green Flags (Because Who Doesn't Love a Perfectly Balanced Dog?): Energy Galore: If you love going on walks and outdoor adventures, Vida is your ideal sidekick! With boundless energy, you'll never have to exercise alone again. Brains and Curiosity: This pup is a smarty-paws! Intelligent and curious, she loves learning new tricks and commands. Just be ready for some stubborn moments (see quirk below). Sweet as Pie: Need a cuddle buddy? Vida loves being close to you and thrives on kisses, pets, and belly scratches. Prepare for endless affection and a constant shadow! Independent Streak: While Vida adores your company, she also appreciates her alone time. Whether you have another dog or prefer a solo furry friend, this adaptable pup fits right in. Crate-Trained: Sleep peacefully, knowing Vida is crate-trained and does exceptionally well at night. Dreamland, here we come! Red Flag (More Like Quirks): The Squirrel Nemesis: Vida has a distractable mind, especially when it comes to her arch-enemy: the squirrel. Those critters are just too tempting! Commands might get ignored during these squirrel-induced distractions, but who can blame her? High Jumper and Possible Climber: Is your yard ready for a high-flying acrobat? Vida can jump high and maybe even climb, so a sturdy fence and some extra training will be key to keeping her grounded. This is how she got her nickname Honey B(unny)…also she bounces around when excited. Cat Conundrum: Given her obsession with small critters, cats might not be her thing. More than likely, she'll consider your cat another version of "the squirrel." So, a cat-free household would be ideal. This lovable girl is ready to fill your home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. If you're looking for a companion who is as sweet as pie, intelligent, and energetic, Vida is the perfect match. Don't miss out on the chance to adopt this wonderful dog. Fill out an application and see for yourself just how special she is. Your new best friend is waiting!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 11, 2025, 10:51 pm

Story
Meet Cocoa! Cocoa is a sweet, affectionate puppy who is always ready for snuggles and love. She has a calm and gentle nature, making her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a laid-back, loving best friend. While she enjoys playtime and fun adventures, Cocoa’s favorite place to be is right by her people, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Her warm, cuddly personality makes her a true comfort pup, always ready to bring joy and affection to those around her. Cocoa was born on December 14th into a difficult situation. She, her sister Cider, and their parents, Winter and Storm, were strays struggling to survive on their own. Their little family was rescued just in time thanks to an incredible community and a dedicated trapper. Mama Winter was in critical condition and needed emergency surgery, while Cocoa and Cider were weak and malnourished. Sadly, they were the only surviving puppies from their litter, but they never gave up. With love, care, and lots of determination, they have grown into happy, healthy, and loving pups. Now, Cocoa is ready to find a forever family to call her own. She is currently in a foster home in Texas, waiting for the perfect home where she will be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the incredible pup she is.
