PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/19/25 Sandy is one of our pups currently at Paws in Prison! While there, she’ll be with an inmate learning all the basics and maybe some tricks! When she graduates, she’ll have all the skills needed to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. She will graduate in January and we hope she’ll have an adopter waiting for her. She’s 6 months old and weighs 30 pounds now. She will top out around 60 pounds. We believe she is a Vizsla mix. She walks very well on leash, and is working on house training. She is medium energy level and gets along great with other dogs and would do very well with kids. She has a gentle, sweet spirit. Sandy graduates from Paws in Prison at the end of January. If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly and smart girl who aims to please…you’ve found her. Sandy is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
