Greetings and Salutations my fine fellow citizens of Indianapolis and surrounding areas!! SPLAT!!! no, that`s not just a noise that`s my NAME! Splat! I`m a fun loving pup of only ten months old and I weigh 42 pounds. It should be expected that I`ll get a bit bigger before I`m all finished growing. Would you just take a moment and look at my big puppy dog eyes and all my wonderful spots! Yeah... I`m super cute. Unfortunately I came to IACS as a stray so not a whole lot is known about the ten months before I came to the shelter. Good News.. I`m still a pup. There`s still pleanty of time to write a beautiful future together. All I`m missing is YOU! If I sound like your kind of good boy, then please head over here and let`s play! I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision. I love cuddles and being close to my humans. Loyalty is my middle name, once we bond, I promise to be by your side forever. I’m a pointer/hound mix so I love the outdoors and long walks. I’ve been housebroken and crate-trained for over 4 years. I am neutered, have all my shots, am microchipped and am very healthy. I am looking for a new home because my current family has a timid cat and new kitten that I want to chase and herd. I’m friendly with other dogs and do better with other high energy breeds.
