Meet Hoss! This handsome 1 year-old boy appears to be a Vizsla/Beagle/Lab mix (his mom is mostly Vizsla). Hoss is a happy-go-lucky, energetic goofball who always brings a smile to the room! He has a joyful personality and loves to play, explore, and be part of the fun. Hoss has been working on his manners and has made wonderful progress since arriving. He is good with kids, dogs, and cats, and we believe he is housebroken. With a little continued guidance, he’s going to grow into the most loyal and loving companion. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $350. Story
Jimi was dumped near our home in the winter of 2025. Left to fend for himself, he did not trust enough to allow anyone to touch him. Yet he trotted behind neighbors on their walks, daring himself to let someone near, clearly longing for companionship and affection. Having Jimi join our home was a bit of a journey which I’m happy to share with anyone interested in meeting him. The short version is that in November of 2025, we brought him in as a foster, and we have been teaching him what it means to be part of a family ever since. Jimi is playful, snuggly, great with children and other animals, smart, adaptable and goofy. He can also be quite lazy. He loves to tussle with our dog, Bunny, chase a frisbee, and lounge in sun puddles. He has been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. Jimi needs a family who can keep him active, appreciate his snuggles and playful spirit, and continue to nurture him with patience and kindness.
