Story
Gretel-Turkish Van X female, 1-2 yr (June 2023) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application for adoption. Gretel was rescued by a Humane Society in a small rural community. She and other cats lost their owner, who died. Then the house burned and they were abandon on the property. Now in a foster home and looking forward to having her own family soon. Her foster home says she's an incredibly sweet cat. "Gretel is a great gal looking for her forever family, she has grey markings on the top of her head. Gretel loves being brushed, relaxing beside you or in the sunshine, and enjoys receiving affection. Gretel would love to bring her joy to her forever family." Gretel is a happy gal and always has purrs at the ready. She loves receiving affection and being part of the family group whether it's observing or participating, she likes watching bird videos on your phone, and stealing hair ties to play with. She's learning to be friends with us, now that she's safe and is just a gorgeous big girl. She's also good with other cats and knows dogs. Gretel's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Story
Tig is a sweet boy who loves to roll over and get chin scritches and head rubs! You can see how happy he is when he's being loved on:) Tig is estimated to have born in 2015. He's healthy and has beautiful fur he keeps well-groomed. He also likes to play. His markings are special - primarily pristine white, but with one back leg with darker markings and characteristic Turkish Van facial markings. We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://rappcats.org/adoptions/ Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org.December 12, 2024, 10:43 am
