Turkish Van kittens & cats in Richardson, Texas

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Casey:  Snowshoe Siamese, DOB 4/12/18, Male, affectionately know as Big Daddy Sasha: Turkish Van Calico, DOB 10/26/21, female Casey and Sasha ended up in a local shelter when their owner died and the executor of the estate didn’t know what to do with the cats.  The owner originally adopted Casey from Cat Matchers when he was a kitten.  Luckily, he had a microchip and we were contacted.  Sasha was adopted by the owner through a different rescue group.  Per the shelter, the rescue declined to take Sasha back.  Casey and Sasha were sitting on top of each other in the shelter cages.  They were terrified and bonded to the point that if they could have crawled into each other’s body, they probably would have.  Cat Matchers decided to take Sasha back in with Casey.  There was a 3rd cat from this owner that also came through a different rescue.  Cat Matchers took this one as well.  The 3rd cat wasn’t very bonded to this pair, so we were able to get her adopted on her own. Casey and Sasha were really depressed and stopped eating for a while.  They had to be syringe and hand fed at first.   Casey had all of his teeth removed prior to our picking him up from the shelter.   Sasha ended up needing her teeth removed as well, so we took care of that.    Even though they are missing their teeth, they can eat small kibble dry food and wet food just fine.   Sasha is very affectionate. She likes to be held. She will put both her arms around your neck, hang on tight and kiss and kiss and kiss she does kiss a lot and it can be annoying to the wrong person. Big daddy is very outgoing and very friendly. He’s not a giant fan of being held but maybe down the road. It’s not fear it’s just he’s really playful and outgoing and he loves baby talk so if whoever picks him up could baby talk with him that would go a long way to keeping him from reverting back to fear and would be great given all that he’s been through. He really responds to baby talk. These 2 wonderful cats are bonded and should be adopted together. We hope you can find it in your heart to adopt an older pair of cats and give them a forever home to call their own. Sasha is a charming Turkish Van calico cat, with a heart as gentle as her purrs. She was adopted as a kitten but the owners life changed and now she is in need of her forever home with her adoptive brother, Casey.  Sasha can seem a bit shy when you first meet, however, with gentle affection she will quickly warm up and her true friendly nature will shine through.  Once she feels safe, Sasha will curl up in your lap, purring her sweet purr. She had her shots, spayed, microchip, etc and  is ready to become a treasured member of your family. Will you be the one to give her the forever home she deserves? Meet Max! Max is a sweet and playful cat. He is mostly white with black on his face and tail, very beautiful cat and his eyes are beautiful green. My husband rescued him while he was at his job a few years back. Max just came right up to him and crawled up on his shoulders. He was very malnourished, but he is happy and healthy now. He is good on his rabies vaccine until 2027, his other vaccine for one year and is neutered. He is also microchipped. Max is such a sweet and loving cat that deserves the best home. He will cuddle, but he also loves to play with his little fish that we got him for Christmas and he also likes laser pointers for a little bit. He is vocal when he is excited and playing, but itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s very cute. He likes to look out of the window and yell at the squirrels and birds that he wants to play with. Max is pretty good with our four year-old as long as our four-year-old is gentle and lets him leave when Max wants to. We do have two dogs that we think he wants to play with but the dogs do not care for it. He has not been around any other cats to our knowledge so we are not sure how he would do with cats, but I imagine he would love a friend since he can be very playful. If you have a blanket, he will jump into your lap and lay there for as long as you allow him for a nap. Max is litter box trained and will play with any toys provided. Max is very sweet and loving, but we are unfortunately needing to rehome him due to his dietary needs. We had a very big scare a few months ago when he had an obstruction in his urinary tract and we almost lost him. Surgery was done to remove the obstruction, but now to prevent anything else hindering his urinary tract. He is on a royal cannon urinary care diet. I recently lost my job and it was already difficult to afford the food let alone now. He is such a sweet and loving cat and deserves all the love in the world. Meet gorgeous and gentle Love Bug! She and her six kittens came to the rescue when a kind person found them. Mama Love Bug is the most loving mama cat ever!  Love Bug is obsessed with cat nip and will turn into a silly puddle with a cat nip toy.  She is ALWAYS close by. Emptying the dishwasher? She’s under it watching. Eating? She’s watching every bite. Working from home? She’s sitting and watching you the whole time. She wants to make sure she knows everything that is going on. Love Bug loves to have full body pets, including tummy rubs!  She will even reach out her paw to gently tap you if you walk away from petting her too soon. This sweet girl has THE most beautiful eyes and her watchful gaze is rather comforting and makes you feel totally connected to her. Meet absolutely stunning Pizookie...a Calico beauty. She and her kittens, members of the Cookie litter, came to the rescue after being found outdoors. Barely out of her kitten stage, she had babies of her own and her time on the streets keeping her kittens safe had to be a difficult time for her. Currently living in a loving foster home, she is an empty nester learning all the loveliness of indoor life with kind humans.  She enjoys a cozy spot for a good nap and a good viewing of outside life from the comforts of home.   This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and love, she blossoms into the most loyal and affectionate companion.  While she may not be a full on cuddler just yet, the good news is that she is always motivated by treats and snacks and we believe that being a snuggly lap kitty is in her future.  She gets along with other cats. Molly is one of a litter of kittens that showed up with their mama on our back porch back in April this year. The mother and one of the kittens disappeared so we rescued the remaining 4 when they were about 8 weeks old. Molly is a very sweet and playful kitty and friendly to humans once trust has been established. It takes some time for her to warm up to strangers. We also have a male littermate of hers named Jasper, who is also very sweet and playful and the two of them are very bonded. It would be ideal if they could both go to the same adopter.
