DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara. HIS SPOTS ARE THUMBPRINTS OF ALLAH  DOB 5/8/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Robin #superhero, a laid-back and lovey Turkish Van mix fella who’s mostly white with black on my head and tail. The Turks would say that the black spots on my back are the thumbprints of Allah.  I’m an outgoing, friendly, and gentle fella who can sometimes be a loner. I go crazy when Foster Meowmy snakes the wand toy around the room for me to chase. When she’s not around, I entertain myself by playing soccer with my jingle balls, plastic spring toys, and catnip mice. Foster Meowmy scooped up my brother Batman and me as kittens of a semi-feral momma who had birthed us in the neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m much bigger than Batman and was the first to trust and be socialized with hoomans. I get along great with the adult resident cats, and although I haven’t been around dogs or kids, Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do great with both. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and it’s my humble opinion that there’s lots of families that I’d fit into like a glove. Although we’re available separately, Batman, who's mostly black with white tuxedo markings, and I think that it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Monkey is a calm sweet loving kitty. She loves to sleep and will cuddle with you under a blanket. When she’s not sleeping she is sunbathing or playing with her companion Mei Mei or toys. She also loves empty boxes and is curious about outside but is an indoor kitty.

Pet supply store adoptable condo cat Sassy recently went to an extended holiday pajama party! She was the only cat invited and she got spend the Thanksgiving holidays with a LCPA volunteer. Turns out the eight-month-old girl was a most excellent houseguest. She quickly settled in the guest room and filled the air with the sound of her sweet meows. A lover of head rubs, she will make 'biscuits' in a show of contentment.
