Story
If you would like more information about Chance or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to ynocetti@gmail.com or contact this number, (718) 619-5775 Chance started to come to my house with cuts, dirty and hungry. He had mange and a bad bite, puncture or cut on his throat. I was very concerned and alarmed about his injury and started to try and get close to provide a topical antibiotic and pain medicine I had from other cats. I started to feed him and of course, explained to neighbors that I was feeding him but planning to catch, neuter and release him and to please don’t harm him. I noticed him getting in better health and that sometimes he just came around to be petted more than to be fed. Really! He was asking for a bit of compassion and nurturing. I asked for help and borrowed a trap and finally caught him. I had him neutered, vaccinated for rabies and feline leukemia, and treated for fleas. Chance needs a home where he can be free of stress and give and receive love. He has had a hard time in his life, where he has been attacked, weathered all types of heat and cold and I know he’s very scared of thunderstorms. He doesn’t get along very well with other animals because he has had to defend himself all this life and has been left with emotional and physical scars! (the physical scars I was able to cure, and he looks super cute now). He uses the litter extremely well and likes dry cat food and a little wet food sometimes. He likes to drink a lot of water and loves treats. I pray that he can get the forever home he deserves and can make someone as happy as he makes me. He likes adults and can be very sweet. After he gets to know you, he likes to be combed and caressed. He does not do well with children that can fuss with him, but he will not harm them if they do not bother him. His ideal environment and adoption scenario is a family or person with no other pets. He likes to watch TV with me and be cozy in an ottoman next to me. He follows me everywhere and likes to be next to people. He doesn’t like to be alone all the time but can be alone until someone gets home. Story
DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with my sister Tris. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 22-1022-E022 If you are interested in Alice and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara. If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.
