Story
Super-soft both inside and out, this silly girl with a loud purr will give you lots of loving headbutts and snuggle time. She's super-tolerant of kids and kid-type affection/handling, and enjoys bird watching, toy playing, bug chasing, and napping. She checks several of the stereotypical cat boxes: hogs the bed, sits on your laptop/books, knocks over your water glass, sits in all the boxes, etc. Originally a rescue adopted to keep another recently adopted rescue company, she came to us when they didn't get along. However, it turns out she doesn't get along with our resident cat, either. Two and a half years of appointments, pheremones, special food and supplements, and environment enrichments later, they don't fight but apparently stress each other out merely by existing adjacent to each other. Given her history, I think she'd do well in an environment with cat-experienced people but WITHOUT other cats.

Story
Mika was born in a barn last December. Her dad was a Turkish Van, her mom an orange cat, and her granddad, a purebred Russian Blue, contributed to her unique tarnished orange color and golden eyes. Mika is just about 10 months old, having been with us for almost 7 of those months. She's chipped, spayed, and up to date on her shots, with records to prove it. Unfortunately, our current financial situation means we can't keep her. She's a smart and very empathetic. While she loves her naps like any cat, she also has bursts of energy where she'll play for hours. Mika gets along well with others and would probably thrive in a lively home with other cats or kids to keep her engaged. She's friendly, never hisses, and hasn't scratched us once. The Adoption fee is only to be sure someone adopts her with good intentions. Any of our cat related things you might need, feel free to request.
