Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Our Mountain Litter are 5 months old and looking for their forever homes. There is one boy and two girls. They are sweet. affectionate and fun. They can be adopted individually or in a pair. They can easily join a home with a resident cat, cat savvy dog or cat experienced kids. Here are some special traits about each of them.   Rainier - Affectionately called 'Rainee' by her foster mom, she is the smallest of the litter but full of spunk. She holds her own against her bigger siblings. She loves getting pets, being held and loved on. She is a little sweetheart.   Fuji - This little girl has a more passive personality. She loves to play with her siblings and climb the cat tree but also can just chill solo too. She would be a great addition to home that wants a devoted kitten who wants to cuddle with them.   Everest - This little cutie pie is the quietest of the group. He has a pleasant personality and gains his confidence from his littermates. He would be an ideal companion for a resident cat in the home. We know he will continue to blossom as he matures. He is a such a sweet boy.   They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her GORGEOUS, pearlescent white fur compliments a sweet, cuddly temperment that Turkish Van's are so well known for! Pearl LOVES socializing with her humans. She is a Well Bred Hostess who will ACTIVELY GREET all new guests that come into your home! Pearl particularly loves cuddling with well behaved children BOTH boys and girls! Her current foster home has two boys, 7 and 9yo who adore this gorgeous girl. Pearl will do best in a NO STRESS, LOW activity home. She prefers to be the ONLY Regal kitty to Rule over her Castle! She MAY tolerate an older, mellow doggy, if the canine has the proper amount of respect, lol, and stays away from her royal food dishes. Pearl would LOVE to live in an ALL WHITE HOME/Palace, as befits her breeding ;-) However, if you have chosen to decorate differently and the humans are CUDDLY and sufficiently adore her, she has said she would be delighted to adapt to your fashion and style. *** Katy is in a foster home ***White w/black patches Turkish Van mix, long hair, spayed female, born approx. 10/1/22, #18044Cats: likes Dogs: cat-savvy canines Children: adults onlyAlong with the rest of her litter, Katy was rescued from the streets as a young kitten. The family made their way to The Rescue House, and in foster care, they began to flourish. During her time there, we noticed that Katy has chronically weepy and slightly red eyes—the right more so than the left. We took her to the ophthalmologist, and she is on a regimen of three separate types of eye drops administered twice daily to address the issue. Even though things are under control, she requires follow-ups every six months to ensure nothing has changed. With that sorted and all of her siblings adopted, Katy now is ready to find her forever home too! On most days, you can find Katy embracing the true San Diego spirit by soaking up the sun in her favorite spot by the window! (In Katy’s opinion, naps are a must after breakfast or an afternoon of games and frolicking with her foster friends, so why not pick a sunny spot for a snooze?) Speaking of meals, Katy loves food and is vocal about making sure you know when it’s time to eat! Katy’s other favorite activity is playing. In terms of activities, she adores interactive wand toy sessions with you and boogying down on the playground with her feline companions! While she appreciates wrestling, cuddling, and romping around with kitten pals, she also is able to be independent and self-entertain. Adopting this playful sun-worshipping gastronome isn’t just for anyone. She is going to need a very special person who understands that she is exceptionally timid and reserved. Katy takes time to trust and form bonds with people. Not one to ever kiss on the first date, Katy expects you to put in the work to earn her affection and not to rush her as she settles in. Katy prefers to explore gingerly at her pace and retreat back to her safe space (under a bed) when she feels overwhelmed or afraid. Once she eventually lets her guard down, you will see an additional side to her. For example, if she thinks you have food or a treat, she will come out to greet you and do a little dance while meowing! Although she doesn’t necessarily want to be touched a bunch, Katy likes to be near her chosen person and enjoys affection on her terms.

Kahlua is a very sweet, fun girl! Like your typical kitten, she loves to play. She is a friendly girl who enjoys a cuddle but is usually on the move, chasing a toy. She gets along with other cats but hasn't met dogs yet. She is young enough to adjust to a dog in the home though. Kahlua was born approx. mid September. She has been given her first vaccines, FelV and FIV tested (negative) and has been dewormed but she will need to return to get spayed. Therefore, we are only looking for local adopters (southern California).
