This sweet girl was in a bad situation, her owners said that she was too hyper for them and they kicked her out of the house. A very kind lady took her in and then got her to us. She is not hyper, she is a super sweet, energetic fun kitten. She loves to play with the other cats. She does like to be pet and enjoys being around us. Understandably she can be shy and isn’t comfortable yet with being picked up. We adore her and are looking for her forever home

My name is Citrus! I am approx 4 months old. I was found with my twin sister Peaches tied up in a plastic bag and thrown into a big cold dumpster. A nice woman heard our cries for help and found us. We were found in Highland and she reached out for help to a local rescue. We have been in foster care since we were about 5 weeks old. A little about me: I am fearless and extremely playful. I am always ready for fun and exploration. I am a curious kitty loves to cuddle with her sister, Peaches. I am fostered with other kitties and large dogs but if I were being honest, I would prefer to be an only kitty, or in a low animal household. I can be a little bit sassy and territorial over my humans and wanting their undivided attention.  However I do have my sister Peaches who is also looking for her forever home. Together we make the perfect duo! I am looking for my forever home where I can continue my kittyantics and share all my affectionate cuddles. Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! YAZHU and what we believe are his siblings were saved from a really rough neighborhood in LA County. This wonderful group that helps out people in that area do TNR (Trap - Neuter - Return) saved them. So the adults were all TNRed and the kittens were sent to rescues. We took on YAZHU and his siblings (YING - YANG - YISRAEL - YAWEN). YAZHU has been ready for his FUREVER home for a long time. Meet YAZHU, a cat with a personality that is as varied as it is endearing. Independent and brave, he is a feline who thrives on his own, yet is always ready for a game of chase. His smart and mellow nature makes him an excellent companion for quiet evenings. Despite his shy and timid demeanor, YAZHU has a sweet, curious, and goofy side that shines through once he warms up to you. He's known to be a bit skittish, but his love for treats always wins out. YAZHU is not just funny and playful, but he also brings joy and laughter to everyone around him. If you're looking for a cat who is full of surprises and will keep you on your toes, YAZHU is the one. He is 4 years and 3 months old He has never been around small children. In the rescue he has been exposed to dogs and he is quite curious about them. He absolutely loves all cats! Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
