Misty is a 5-year-old who is friendly with humans and appreciates attention. She is affectionate and will reciprocate all of the love that she receives. She is a gorgeous, long hair, Turkish Van/Calico mix female. She loves being brushed and does not mind being picked up. Misty is choosy about other cats, so she would do best in a quiet home where she will be the only pet. Misty is a “Courtesy Listed” cat which means this pet remains with their family while up for adoption. Her owners love her and are sad that they must re-home her, but she is not doing well with their other pets. They took her in several months ago after her elderly owned passed away. Her owners, who really love her and hoped to keep her, had a veterinary medical evaluation which determined she appears to be healthy and have no medical issues. She is current on vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies), tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. The adoption fee for this adult cat is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. The fee can be made by check payable to United Animal Friends or on-line by credit or debit card.
