You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, I'm Cooper! Age has only made me sweeter, like a well-aged wine. My days are filled with curiosity and energy, and my nights with cuddles and purrs. I'm quite the intellectual too, always solving puzzles and exploring my surroundings. But my favorite thing? Hugging you. There's nothing quite like a warm embrace to make both our days better. I'm not just a cat, I'm a companion, a friend, a confidante. So, why should you adopt me? Because with me, every day is a new adventure filled with love, laughter, and the purest form of friendship. I promise to make your life as exciting and sweet as mine. So, what do you say? Are you ready to start our adventure together?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Story
Jane is exquisite. She is very affectionate once she gets to know you. The loudest purr I have ever heard. You can touch her head or tail when she walks past you and hear that purr; she is so sweet. Loves an open window to listen to the birds, long day time naps, playing, scratches to her chin and belly, and a tad bit of cuddling at bedtime, then she is off. Loves outdoor time, the kitties currently have a kitty door with a cage to the outdoors. She was rescued with her littermate Lizzie. They were adopted as Elsa and Anna, but renamed to Jane and Lizzie. More formally Jane Bennet and Elizabeth Bennet. She is bonded with Lizzie. They were rescued at 4 months. They are long haired Turkish Vans and only shed twice a year. Jane is pure white, with stunning blue eyes. Unfortunately, even though their breed only sheds twice a year, I am highly allergic and cannot continue to care for them. 100% of adoption fee will be donated to adoptapet =^.^=

Story
Lizzie is such a sweet and loving kitty. Her purr is so low, you can barely hear it. She is so petitle. Like her sibling, she loves an open window to listen to the birds, long day time naps, playing, scratches to her head and chin. Loves outdoor time, the kitties currently have a kitty door with a cage to the outdoors. She will be 4 on July 1st. She was rescued with her littermate Jane. They were adopted as Elsa and Anna, but renamed to Jane and Lizzie. More formally Jane Bennet and Elizabeth Bennet. She is bonded with Jane; Jane is the alpha. They were rescued at 4 months. They are long haired Turkish Vans and only shed twice a year. Lizzie is pure white, with just a tiny beige smudge on her head. There is a legend about that. She has beautiful green eyes. Unfortunately, even though their breed only sheds twice a year, I am highly allergic and cannot continue to care for them. 100% of adoption fee will be donated to adoptapet >^.^

Story
Hello, my name is Primrose. I seem to be a mix of a Turkish Van and a Domestic Short-hair. I have some of the Van characteristics. I have the beautiful soft coat with my color points on my head, tail and a spot on my body. Vans also talk a lot and that's me too. I also have to watch my weight as Vans tend to add the pounds :0 I’m just about a 1 and 1/2 yr-old female. My foster mom says I’m absolutely wonderful! That is me all over, just a wonderful young-ish girl looking for my forever family. I talk to my foster mom about my day and how much I love her and I bet I'll do that for you too. I had a human family once but when I got pregnant, I got dumped at a park. Fortunately, I got rescued just in time :). My kittens have all been adopted now but I’m still waiting for my turn to find that perfect family. My pastimes include watching birds (on You-Tube or out the window), carrying my toy mice around, and occasionally playing with the other foster kitties. I’m a smart girl who’s kind and sweet to people. I’m very patient with the foster kittens but I prefer being with people. My being dumped hasn’t affected me at all. I was scared when I was outside but once I came into my foster house, I relaxed and soon started asking for petting and love. I’m sure I’ll do that at your house too. I’m all ready to go to my forever home. I’ve been spayed and I’ve been chipped. So, I’m all set to go to my new home. I really would prefer being the only cat but if you already have a friendly kitty, I’m sure we could get along. I think I might have been overwhelmed with all my kittens and the other foster kittens that now I’m ready for the adult life 😊. I could love one person or a whole family of people - I'm not picky. Just be aware that I might be a tiny bit shy at first until I get to know you. I don’t think it will take me long though because I love people. I get along with dogs too and I like kids. So, if you’d like to have a sweet, pretty, and loving addition to your family, I’m your girl. I’ll be waiting to hear from you! P.S. This is a very loving and affectionate kitty who would warm your lap and your heart and deserves a loving family home. So, if you are willing and able to adopt this wonderful little girl, please email drtweets2@msn.com or call/text 602-757-9791 and ask for Deb.

Story
Teddy Bear is a kind and super sweet Turkish Van mix boy. He has a very gentle demeanor. He's very loving and would enjoy your attention and would love to cuddle with you on your lap or follow you around the house. He is a young boy of 2yrs old but he's a big fluffy boy. He likes to eat but he is on a diet to lose a few pounds and needs a loving home to help him achieve his ideal weight goal. He loves and needs to be brushed and has occasional outbursts of playfulness. He does need play time interaction with toys. A quiet to lower level active home would suit him well but may be negotiable depending on situation. He does get along with other cats if they are also friendly with other cats. Not sure about dogs. He must go to a committed person/family willing to manage his weight properly. No other known health issues.

These pups are in Chandler, Arizona too!

Story
Approximate Date of Birth:8/29/2021 Description:   My story begins with my siblings, and I being taken care of by a kind older lady, who helped us figure out a way off the streets. I'm by far the most observant and intelligent of my siblings and will try to find the highest perches in the house to be able to gaze down at my new domain. I am very thoughtful when presented with something or someone new and will be prone to assessing from a distance before I make the decision to interact on my own terms. Once you get the chance to know me, though, you will see that I am very gentle and empathetic and am always willing to brush against your legs and back to offer quiet reassurance. Story
Approximate Date of Birth:10/1/2020 Description:  I'm the fabulous Taffy Truffles here to be your lifelong companion. I am a very mellow cat, but I can’t resist checking out what my favorite human is up to. No matter what I’m doing, I can’t resist the urge to come when I hear a box of toys shaking. Catch is my favorite game to play; throw a feathered toy far above my head and witness my acrobatic prowess. My favorite pastime is sitting by the window for a nice long view of nature. I also love to watch TV with birds or squirrels in nature. I need a long petting session with complementary playtime before settling for the night, otherwise I will cry for your attention. Brushing my body will easily earn you my affection and maybe earn you a belly rub. I must emphasize that I dislike being handled and I can sense your antics from a mile away. It may take a while to earn my trust as I am very anxious around new people and animals. With all things considered, I will be your best-est companion! Words to Describe Me: Skittish, Curious, Chatty, Relaxed Favorite Place to Sleep: A spot near the window Favorite Toy: Feathered wand Perfect Day: A day full of playtime followed by petting and sleeping Kitty's Likes: Playtime Kitty's Dislikes: Be handled or picked up Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Brushing my body Favorite Treat: Does not like treats Job Title in Foster: Watchcat When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: Olympic gymnast Good with Cats:Ambivalent towards cats.   Good with Dogs:  Unknown.
