Whitley is a Turkish Van "blend". As you can see he has a tuxedo brother. Both are super sweet and are very bonded. Whitley loves on all of the new babies that comes into his foster home and as well as his brother, Walker. They have been together since birth and will need to go together.  They have been in the same home since they and the rest of their litter were brought in as young feral kittens.  They will need an acclimation period but if you know cats, you will understand this. Walker is the most affectionate of the two so far (very needy) both are very special. If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping). We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $398 but if you adopt both your total adoption donation will be $448. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $148 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) HOWEVER, when we rescue a special breed, ridiculously adorable, or unusual color, we ask for a higher donation which helps towards our vet expenses. Champ is a happy, healthy, gorgeous 4 ear old Turkish Van mix. He loves human attention and gets along well with other cats. Champ is affectionate from first meet and will make someone a wonderful new family member. Cyd passed away 1/26/25 and Champ is still waiting.  Champ’s adoption fee is $150. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Cleo was adopted by our office staff to live here at the office. She receives lots of attention during office hours, however, she is not coping well with the in and out nature of her owners. She is just not meant to be an office cat. Her behavior is less than desirable when she's been left alone for the weekend. (We do check in on her every day, feed her, clean her box.) Judging by the few times we've taken her home, she does not do well with other animals, hence the reason none of us can just take her home - as we all have other pets at home. She will want to be an only pet and will do best with someone who is around quite a bit. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. $50 rehoming fee will include carrier, her toys, and any food we have for her. We will want to do a home visit to make sure she is going to a safe home.
