Furiosa: Tiny Warrior with a Big HeartMeet Furiosa, the quirky little black fluff ball who started life as a one-kitten army! She came in as a wee bundle of feistiness, fiercely independent and hungry enough to scale mountains (or human legs) for canned food. Furiosa has mellowed since those wild early days—she’s learned to enjoy her meals with a bit more decorum (your hands are safe now!) and recently mastered the fine art of litterbox etiquette. Her new family will need to be patient as she continues perfecting her aim, but Furiosa promises to reward you with endless cuddles and a soft, happy purr. While she’s a bit of a dreamer (she often zones out contentedly staring at nothing in particular), Furiosa loves a good snuggle session in your lap or arm. She’s not one to demand attention, but when she gets it, she’s all in. She`s lived with other kittens who look out for her like she`s their little sister, but would probably be totally fine living as a solo cat, or could make an excellent companion for an older existing cat. She`s fine with dogs, too. Let’s be honest: Furiosa might not be the sharpest whisker in the box, but she makes up for it with charm, sweetness, and a personality that’s as unique as they come. If you’ve got a soft spot for the wonderfully weird and a heart big enough for this special girl, Furiosa might just be your perfect match.Ope! These kittens had been living with kittens that are suspected to have the calici virus, and as a precaution, they’ll be staying in quarantine for the next week to make sure they don`t develop upper respiratory symptoms. (Calici virus is a common and manageable cat cold virus, not communicable to other species). But don’t worry—they’re currently happy, healthy, and waiting to meet their perfect families! While they can’t attend public adoption events just yet where there are lots of young kittens as a precaution, approved adopters can schedule to meet and adopt them right at their foster home in Fitchburg, or by appointment during closed hours at the Verona Adoption Center. If all goes well, they’ll will start attending adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on December 28th if not adopted from foster before then!READY TO ADOPT?
