Story
Meet Basil – A Hug-Giving Gentleman with a Heart of Gold 💛 Basil’s story is one of resilience and love. Once abandoned in a park and left to fend for himself, this incredible boy has overcome so much and is now ready to find the forever family he deserves. Basil has the most soulful eyes and a heart to match. He absolutely adores his humans, loves to give hugs, and will happily chat with you about his day. His diabetes is well managed, and he thrives on a canned food–only diet (he’s especially fond of Weruva Press Your Lunch Chicken, Tiki Cat Dark and Stella & Chewy’s freeze-dried chicken). This gentle sweetheart would shine as an only pet, though he can coexist with a calm, respectful kitty who gives him space. A quieter home with older children or adults would make him feel safe and adored. If you’re looking for a cat who will love you with his whole heart and fill your home with warmth, Basil is your boy. We will show you everything you need to know!

Story
Meet Hildi — a Snowy Beauty with a Gentle Heart Hildi is a stunning 2-year-old Turkish Angora with soft, silky fur and an even softer soul. While she may be a little timid at first, once she feels safe, she turns into the sweetest little lovebug. Hildi is looking for a cat-savvy human who understands that trust takes time and that patience always pays off. She truly blossoms when given gentle affection and a calm environment to settle into. This lovely girl also needs a feline friend close in age to help her feel confident and keep her company. With the right companion (human and feline alike), Hildi will absolutely thrive and bring so much quiet joy to her purrfect home.

Story
MEET ANNA 💐The One-and-Only Princess! A breathtaking Turkish Angora beauty with one green eye and one blue eye—a rare bit of magic called heterochromia. Anna has overcome more than any cat ever should. She was declawed long before she came to us, and lived many years in discomfort, but she never stopped carrying herself with quiet grace. After a paw repair surgery, a full dental, and medical care that finally gave her relief, Anna is ready to begin the life she has always deserved. Anna is deaf, so her world is a bit quieter than ours. It takes her time to feel safe, and trust must be earned gently and patiently. But once she knows she is respected, Anna reveals her true heart: soft, affectionate, and deeply loyal. She is also wonderfully independent, a cat who is happy simply existing near her person, lounging in a sunbeam or delicately curled into a fluffy pink bed fit for a princess. Anna needs a calm, cat-savvy home with no other cats and no children. She wants to be your one and only, cherished exactly as she is. Because she is declawed, joint support and a soft environment are important. She prefers dry food, so a water fountain will help keep her hydrated and comfortable. If you are the kind of person who loves deeply, quietly, and without rushing someone who understands that trust is a gift, not a demand-then Anna may choose you. And if she chooses you, you will be incredibly lucky. You will see her sweetness, her humor, her softness, her gentleness. You will see her heart. Anna is not a cat for everyone. But she is the perfect cat for someone very special.

Story
Meet Socrates – Your New Best Friend in Fur! 🐾 Socrates is a gorgeous guy with silky-soft fur and a heart full of love. Likely a Turkish Angora or Moggie mix, this playful and adventurous feline is as elegant as he is spirited. With a curious nature and a love for exploration, Socrates will keep you smiling with his fun antics and bold personality. He’s also quite the conversationalist! If you enjoy a good chat, Socrates is always ready to chime in with a sweet meow or two. Whether he’s climbing to a high perch or cuddling on the couch, he’s happiest when he’s around his people. Socrates is fully litter trained and gets along beautifully with everyone—cats, dogs, adults, and children alike. He’s the total package: affectionate, social, and ready to bring joy and comfort into his forever home. Socrates does have a heart murmur, but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. He’s currently asymptomatic, and it’s not expected to affect his overall quality of life. He’s playful, active, and full of love—just the way a happy, healthy cat should be. If you’re looking for a cat who’s equal parts graceful and goofy, Socrates is the purr-fect match. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
