Story
My husband rescued her, she was abandoned and hiding in cactus from predators about 9 years ago. She doesn’t do well with loud noises and fast movements or excitability. She is a very loving cat once you gain her trust. She was a great emotional support animal for me after my miscarriage about 9 years ago. We got her before having kids and recently had a baby. I also had a cancer diagnosis and we’re no longer able to afford the time and money to take care of her along with medical bills and baby expenses. She likes her space and is very to herself, but loves to play and snuggle once she’s warmed up to you. She lets my child pet her, but must be slow moving and quiet. She likes to give affection in her own time. Loves plastic bags, lasers, string, and bathrooms.

Story
Ginger is a large fluffy boy and around 15 pounds of pure softness. He has a calm gentle nature and becomes very sweet and affectionate once he feels comfortable in his environment. He can be a little shy at first, but with a lot of patience, he settles in and will become your snuggle partner. Ginger gets along well with kids, other cats, and dogs making him a great addition to your home! Ginger enjoys typical cat behaviors such as scratching and hiding so providing a scratching post or pad will keep him happy. He will do best with someone who understands his need for an adjustment period. However, once he’s comfortable he will become your best companion. He will come with a few items such as a food/water bowl, a bag of his current food, a blanket, and a bag of his favorite treats. Ginger is an indoor cat only as his size and amount of fur will not mix well with the heat of Texas in summer. If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle giant, Ginger may be the perfect fit for you.

Story
Ella Mae was a stray living under my deck. It took about 4 months to earn her trust to be able to catch her. She was taken to the vet to be checked for microchipped and vet confirmed she is not chipped. I’ve had her inside since July 2025. I did get her vaccinated and the vet confirmed she is spayed via incision scar. They estimate her age to be 7-8. She’s extremely sweet, but scares very easily. I currently have 4 cats of my own (2 are alpha). My 2 alpha cats have been very aggressive towards her and she cowards away from them. I have one very chill submissive cat and they coexist in peace. Ella Mae would do best in a quiet home (no young kids) due to being scared easily. Unsure how she would do around dogs, but I think she would be ok with very submissive calm cats and possibly calm submissive dogs. When my kids are asleep and the house is quiet, she’s extremely loving and playful. Please reach out for any questions.
