Story
Lavender is a super sweet deaf senior cat ~15 years old, spayed and up-to-date on all her shots and bloodwork. She has some kidney issues with age, but no significant medical care besides special food and bloodwork every 3-6 months, although she may need more in the future such as IV fluids, so she needs an experienced adopter. She always always been deaf as far as I know, so she can be surprised a bit more easily, and she needs her ears cleaned regularly. She has some supplies that can go with her. She is shy at first but super cuddly and sweet once she knows you and loves to be pet and brushed. She behaves perfectly for the groomer, sitter, and vet - they love her. She would like to be an only pet and MUST be an indoor cat. She'll meow to greet you but is usually very quiet and just likes to sleep in her little house. Please submit an application including your special needs experience and your home environment. There will need to be a home visit before adoption.

Story
Purry Mason is a curious little kitten with the cutest, most inquisitive face and a zest for playtime and exploration. This fluffy boy started his life out on the mean streets and was found and brought inside by his foster family as a teeny two week old baby. They quickly discovered how much Purry loves to eat, and with lots of TLC, he graduated from bottle feeding to eating kitten food on his own and he hasn't stopped thriving since!Purry's hobbies include climbing, romping, jumping, chasing toys, meeting new friends, and being professionally adorable. While he's not on track to pass the bar exam like his namesake, this kitten is one smart cookie and we think he could win over the toughest judges around. Purry Mason will be happiest in a home with another cat friend to play with, whether that's another kitten pal or a resident cat who can show him the ropes!  We don't DNA test our kittens. Most cats and kittens in the US are a mix of breeds and we suspect the same is true for Purry Mason. He looks like he might be Maine coon mix (or other longhair mix). Either way, we know he's 100% cute!  Purry is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, he is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $125.    RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Story
Meet Coconut, the cutest, fluffiest little kitten around! This girl is one sweet tabby baby who loves to play and explore her environment and hasn't met a friend she doesn't like- cat, dog, or human! Coconut was found alone and scared at a park and was brought into an area shelter while some of our volunteers were there looking at kittens to tag. When they saw her tiny face and heard her little meows, they knew they needed to get her into the rescue and help her find the best forever home.Coconut would love to have a cat sibling to romp and play with, whether that's another kitten in our rescue or a resident cat in her forever home. She's a brave baby girl who we think would be happy to have kids to play with too! We don't DNA test our kittens. Story
Meet Jinx, a member of the Camp 6 litter. His mom was a feral with a trusting soul who let a kind woman bring her inside to have her kittens. Jinx is a handsome love bug who adores having his belly rubbed and he shows his appreciation with purrs of pleasure. This boy has a relaxed easy-going attitude. He is happy to be close by and does not always have to be the center of attention. His hobbies include scratch post dedication, new toy playability and finding the purrfect place to nap. He likes to show off his gorgeous and glorious fluffy tail (which will be a hit on social media!), by gently waving it at all who will appreciate it’s floof as he confidently walks around. His coat is the envy of his tabby siblings. Would be fine as an only cat or with a cat buddy after proper introduction. His birth date is February 22, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2122481##
