Turkish Angora kittens & cats in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Arya is still very young. The vets estimated that she's probably around 8 or 9 months, and we think she has the appearance and personality of a Maine coon mix. She was abandoned by her previous owners in a secluded wooded area either while she was pregnant or after she had her 6 babies. A kind construction worker ran across her and her 2-week-old babies while he was at his work site. He refused to leave them out there to die in the 90+ temperatures, so he put them in a crate and had them in a Waffle House, trying to find a home for them. A friend of their foster mom took them and brought them to her. Arya has been so sweet and has never swatted at us or even hissed when we picked up her babies. She's been an excellent mommy and was always so attentive when one of her babies cried. She loves to play and cuddle. She really enjoys feather toys!
