Story
Graceling is DeafGraceling is a stunning fluffy white cat with a heart as big as her personality. Though she may seem quiet at first, her world is filled with vibrant sights and smells. Being deaf, she's developed a powerful sense of intuition and relies heavily on body language.   While she loves her independence and personal space, don't be fooled - she's a cuddly kitty especially at night. Graceling would do best with older children who can communicate with her. She does have specific dietary needs. Prescribed food from the vet is required. Specifically Hills gastrointestinal biome dry food   Graceling is indoor only and her rehoming fee is $200.  Graceling lives in Salem with her owner.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
These kitties are very affectionate and shy. They love to snuggle, they love to scratch on their designated scratching pads, and they love to be pet. We have two babies at home now, and feel that they would receive the attention and space they need to thrive if they were in a new home.

These pups are in Newberg, Oregon too!

Story
I got Tongs as a kitten from the Newberg Animal Shelter. He is 4 years old, born in March or April of 2020. He is a very loving, playful, and curious boy. He is an indoor cat but likes looking out the window and attempts to sneak outside. He has been an only animal, but I think he would love to have some furry siblings. When he sees other animals outside, he gets excited. With me, he is very outgoing, but when strangers come over, he hides. He play bites my fingers, but it is him just being playful or loving. He had a medical emergency this year. His urinary tract was blocked and the vet had to unblock it. Because of this he was diagnosed with FLUTD(Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) and requires a special diet for the rest of his life to prevent this type of blockage from happening again, as it can be deadly. Please be aware this diet is spendy($110-$200 a month). Since the operation and new diet, he is back to normal. I love him dearly, but can't afford to support him anymore.
