Turkish Angora kittens & cats in Holly Springs, North Carolina

We have been feeding and sheltering Salem alongside another cat since 2023. We took over feeding/sheltering since our previous neighbor who was had to move. We sadly have not been able to bring them inside since we have a reactive dog. We were told by neighbors that Salem was indoor cat and her owner died, and she was left. They said this was about 5-6 years ago, which was so heartbreaking to hear. She was very scared at first, and used to hiss at us, but after a few months of socializing, she now lets us pet her, hold her, give her all the head rubs and love. She is very vocal and inhales her food/tries to eat other cats food. She is not food aggressive though, just highly motivated! Her and the other cat, Sunny, are bonded and inseparable. They snuggle and nap together, and need to be re-homed together. That is an absolute non negotiable. She might need time to acclimate to a new setting, but once she knows she’s safe, she really is very loving. Ears are tipped from TNR.

My pictures show me now and when I was a younger 3-month old kitten. My favorite things in life is rubbies, often, playing with cat nip anything, and being with my people. I am a peoply sort of kitty. I would like to have a buddy to keep me company when you are busy doing people stuff. I do get along with doggos, by simply ignoring them for the most part. I am easy-going. I enjoy rubbies often. What cat doesn't, right. I enjoy the morning sun shine that warms my rich, dark fur. Enjoy your morning coffee or soda with me, and stroke my fur. These are my best mornings. Night time, I will enjoy time spent with you if it involves you and me time with rubbies, please. I like to hang out with my people.
