Story
PEANUT BUTTER and Jelly (already adopted) were dumped at the SCHS in carriers. We can’t imagine what these two have been through, but now they’re safe. PB is a handsome boy that loves attention, even tapping you to remind you. He doesn't mind being held but he does not like most adult cats. This likely stems from his time outside as an intact male. He does great with kittens, who seem to bring out his inner goofy child. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  November 4, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
The "B" boys – three brothers – were found at the site of the future QT station in Locust. Fearing for their lives, they were scooped up and put into foster care with an SCHS volunteer. There, they were exposed to other cats and big dogs, and had so much fun. Due to a heavier load of intestinal parasites than was realized, these brothers are small for their age. They are hardy eaters and will catch up in time.  BEATTY is a medium-haired ball of fun. He loves to run and play. He's very social and confident but not much of a snuggler at this point. He'd do well with a playful cat buddy. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. Story
ALMOND JOY was born to a feral mama. A good samaritan brought the babies inside and trapped the mama for her spay. They then began the task of socialization and did a great job. Almond Joy has a confident, affectionate personality. He cries for people to pay attention to him and would likely enjoy a cat buddy in the home. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming.
