Story
Sergei is 8 years old (Birthday April 2018). He has always been a highly anxious and stressed cat since the moment I rescued him from the Voorhees Animal Orphanage. We adopted him when he was 5months old. At 1 year old, we moved to a new home and he started peeing outside of the litter box. He sprays against walls/doors. I have had him checked medically for urinary issues and he has a clean bill of health. It worsened when we got a dog. If I confine him to my room with my other cat, who he loves, Sergei will pee where he is supposed to pee- I have a pee pad set up under a plastic computer mat that is leaning against the wall by the litter box. I have tried pheromones, prozac, multiple litter boxes, nothing has helped. I keep the litter very clean and open. He also does not like children and has swatted at my baby's face. He needs a quite home with a female owner. He is affectionate with me and my other cat. We are moving and I am afraid this situation is about to escalate.

Story
Fall in love with me — my name is Parmesan. And really… who doesn’t love Parmesan? I’m a truly gorgeous girl, make no mistake about it. I have a long, silky white coat that feels like a cloud, and eyes you won’t forget — one blue, one green. Add in my sweet, loving nature, and honestly… how could you not want that? I don’t know much about my early history, but I do know this: I was rescued with Reggiano, and we must go to a home together. No exceptions. He may drive me a little crazy sometimes (especially when he tries to steal my food), but we love each other deeply. We’ve been through too much to be apart. When you first meet me, I can be shy. I might hiss — not because I’m mean, but because I’m scared. Give me a little patience, and you’ll see my true personality shine. I’ll roll around happily, go wild for catnip, and soak up brushing and gentle pets like they’re the best thing in the world. All I want now is a family of my own — a safe, loving home where I can relax, be adored, and enjoy life the way every cat deserves. I’m ready for a future where I’ll never be left in a cage outside, like I didn’t matter. If you’re looking for beauty, sweetness, and a bonded pair full of love, Reggiano and I are waiting for you. If you have questions about me, please email beaconofhoperescue@gmail.comTo fill out an application, go to https://beaconofhoperescue.com and click 'Adoption Application' at the top.  An application is required to schedule a meet and greet. All Beacon of Hope Rescue cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV tested. ##2641527##

Story
Meet Reggiano — Extra Handsome, Extra Friendly, Extra Love My name is Reggiano, and yes… I’m every bit as delightful as I sound. I was found dumped in a cage outside of a store early one morning — not the start any cat deserves. But thanks to kind humans, my story didn’t end there. It became a brand-new beginning. Today, I’m a happy, confident, and incredibly friendly boy who truly loves people. I’m quite the conversationalist, especially when it comes to reminding you that it might be time for more wet food (very important business — I take it seriously). I adore being petted and always return the love with head bumps, loud purrs, and nonstop affection. Humans are my favorite, and I thrive on attention and companionship. About other cats:I don’t particularly enjoy being around other cats — with one very important exception. Parmesan and I were left together in that cage, and she’s the only feline friend I truly know and trust. Because of that bond, I make it clear when other cats are around that I’m not interested in making new kitty friendships. What that means:I need to go home with Parmesan. She’s my comfort, my constant, and my safe place. Together, we make the perfect pair and will do best in a home where we can stay together as a bonded duo. I’m still unsure about dogs, but with slow and proper introductions, anything is possible. What I want most is a loving home where I’ll be cherished, spoiled, and adored — ideally with a few extra treats (just saying). I promise to fill your days with laughter, warmth, and a whole lot of heart. A little extra love, a few extra snacks… that’s not too much to ask, right? Story
For the past few months, we've seen this kitten on the street, abandoned. I'm pretty sure he belonged to a home and was thrown out. Lately, he's been coming to my house more often. We have two cats, so it was difficult for me to give him the welcome he deserved. But the cold and rainy season has begun, and our hearts simply wouldn't allow us (my family and I) to keep him on the street in this terrible weather. We made the decision and adapted an ideal space for Phillip. He's a loving, peaceful, clean, kind, calm, extremely affectionate, and very docile cat (we assume he's a male). We sincerely hope he finds the home he deserves. He'll be the perfect companion for whoever has love reserved for this beautiful kitten. I hope he finds the perfect home for him; he deserves it. He should have a new chance. I hope he finds the perfect home for him; he deserves it. He should have a new chance.

Story
Do you know why the Phillies aren't in first place? Because Tinka is homeless! This loveliest of girls needs to be watching right along with you in her forever home. Tinka, who is about 1 year old, was found as a stray on South Broad Street. Her medium-hair coat, which will need simple at-home brushing, was in remarkable condition, so we believe she was someone's pet. Tinka has extra toes, just like the famous Hemingway cats. She also has the sweetest disposition: talky and snuggly and curious, all in one neat little package. If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption.
