Story
We have two cats that we are looking to get adopted. They are mother and son so need to stay together. The mother, Cocoa is a smaller long-haired pure white cat. She is about 10 years old. And her son Tank, who is nine years old and is a big boy... about 20 pounds with shorter hair. He is all white, big and snuggly. Our daughters have left for college. we have two small puppies and the puppies and cats do not get along. So we are looking to find a home for the cats- either permanently or long-term temporary until the girls graduate from college and settle down. Both are indoor / outdoor cats.

These pups are in Walker, Michigan too!

Story
Sweetie truly lives up to her name! She is a social 11-year-old gal who is a bit timid about new people and places. She's affectionate and gentle and wants to keep you safe! She knows when you're having a nightmare and will get in bed and purr you back to sleep. At first, Sweetie enjoyed hiding in her areas and was easily persuaded to come out for pets and playtime. Once she's adjusted, she'll hang out with you and talk about everything and anything! Sweetie is good with older dogs. When she first met her foster friend at first, but now they enjoy each others company and are often found lying together. She is a natural-born snuggle bug and anytime you're horizontal, you bet she'll be on your chest begging for pets! She purrs anytime she's being petted! She even purrs when you sit next to her! When there's a sunbeam on the ground, you already know Sweetie's curled up catching those rays! She loves curling up on the chair or couch and getting a good nap. Like most of us, she'll burrow herself in the blankets to stay nice and toasty! She's young at heart and loves to play with her string toy every day! When Sweetie first came to us, she had problems using the litterbox. Since she has been in foster, she has had no problems and uses the litterbox like a pro! There are never any messes to clean up, doesn't destroy furniture, knows proper personal hygiene, and takes good care of her coat! This super soft girl lets you clip her nails without a fuss, as long as she's burrito'd in a towel. Sweetie genuinely is a sweetie. For someone looking for a cat who looks after you as much as you look after her, Sweetie is the one for you. She's full of love and waiting to find her new home!

Story
This is Nyx (aka Darlene). She doesn't really trust humans (I don't blame her sometimes), but she adores other (nice) cats. She is sloooowly warming up. She plays with wand toys and prances around in the vicinity of humans, but always a little wary. She takes very beautiful portraits, though; very demure, very mindful. She would make a good best friend for your lonely cat and must go to a home with other cats or with a sibling of hers.

Story
Tom Tom is a very handsome tuxedo boy. We don’t know for certain how old he is but we believe he is a little over a year old (born approximately 10/9/2023) so he has many years of joy to provide to his new family. His current mom is a senior who is moving somewhere that Tom Tom cannot follow Tom Tom is super playful and particularly enjoys wand toys. He sometimes gets the zoomies which is always fun to watch. If there is a fly that catches his eye, he can chase it all day which always gave a good laugh to his previous human mom. He is a mostly independent cat but he does enjoy petting and will lay next to you for pets when he is comfortable and feels safe. He will sometimes sleep on the foot of the bed but he also likes to do some exploring at night. He likes to be brushed which is important with his medium-hair coat and he enjoys kneading on a soft blanket. Tom Tom can be a cuddler especially when you are handing him treats. He is truly a sweetheart once he gets to know you and he can be quite chatty when he feels like having a conversation with you. When visitors arrive, he will hide but eventually his curiosity will bring him out in a reasonable time to see what’s happening. He has never lived with children, dogs, or other cats so we don’t have any “real life” experience to know how a situation like that may be. Tom Tom will go to his new home with a favorite scratching post and toys and other items to help him have a fresh start with his new family. Can you make room for Tom Tom in your heart and home today?
