Story
This is "Ivy". She is about 8 weeks old. Ivy was found outside all by herself. She had a minor illness that she was treated for and Ivy is now in foster care until we find the right home for her. Ivy is very sweet and she loves to cuddle. She might be shy at first but it does not take long for her to warm up. She will follow you around and she will cry if she doesn't see you! Ivy is very fluffy but a bit underweight. She eats a combination of wet and dry kitten food. She is litter box trained. Ivy likes other cats and dogs (calm dogs). Ivy is going to be a wonderful kitty. In Ivy's new home, children must be 8 years old or older. Ivy would be afraid for a couple of days with younger children. Ivy had her first vaccine and tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Ivy is $135.00. No credit cards. You can meet any of our animals at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury on Saturday during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00 so, if you are interested in meeting Ivy or a particular animal, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com and we will be certain to bring that particular animal with us to Petco on Saturday. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!

Story
Hey there, it's Shelton! I may be a little guy at 2.7lbs, but I've got a big heart! I've already had all my vaccinations, been microchipped, neutered, and tested negative for FIV/FLV.   I'll admit, I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I'm a total sweetheart. I just need a little time to adjust to new surroundings. My future family should know that I might need some time to relax and settle in, but I promise I'll come out of my shell.   I do have a slight heart murmur, but my amazing doctor says I'll probably grow out of it. It's nothing major, just something to keep in mind. I thrive in a stress-free environment, so a little patience and understanding will go a long way with me.   I get along great with other cats, dogs, and older kids who are gentle and won't overwhelm me. I would love to have a young kitty playmate at home to keep me company and have fun with.   Overall, I'm a lovable little guy who just needs some time and love to blossom. I can't wait to find my forever family who will appreciate me for who I am. ##2099510##

Story
My name is Stapleton and guess what? I was born on April 15th! I wanted to share a little more about myself with you all. I've been through all my vet check-ups, I'm neutered, microchipped, and I've tested negative for FIV/FLV. So you can rest assured that I'm all set and healthy.   I have to admit, I can come off as a bit shy and reserved when we first meet. But here's the thing - I absolutely love socializing with other furry friends like cats and dogs. It warms my heart when kids are respectful of my boundaries too. It may take me some time to fully open up to new people, but trust me, a few treats go a long way in winning me over. However, I do best in a home where my new family is understanding and patient with me as I adjust to my new surroundings.   Because I can be a little timid around humans initially, it's incredibly important for me to be placed in a loving home with another kitten my age or a friendly young cat. I truly believe that with the right family, I can blossom into the most loving companion. I am beyond excited at the thought of finding my forever family. Could that family be yours? ##2099509##
