Horus is a 9 year old neutered male, and is an Angora with a beautiful coat. Some of his favorite things are cozy snuggles, sunny windowsills, and the occasional feather toy. He previously lived with another cat who picked on him, so would prefer to be the only feline in the home. Initially he is shy in new situations, Horus takes his time to warm up, so will need a cat-savvy home that will give him the space and time he needs to get adjusted. Once he feels comfortable, he’s a total cuddle bug! He enjoys quiet moments with his favorite humans and has a gentle, affectionate nature. She will frequently accept love and pets but she is skittish due to not always having had good experiences and will take time to adjust in a new situation. She would love a quiet home with someone who understands that she would be happiest to just exist in a similar space with her humans until she trusts them enough to be a lap kitty. In foster she has become very sweet and loving over time and allows holding, snuggling, and sleeping with others (humans and cats). She prefers female humans, but would also do well with quiet teenagers and could learn to adjust to men. She may like other friendly kitties, especially considerate males as she can be a bit jealous/dominant. Name: Tyra DOB: ~May 2024 Hi, I’m Tyra.  I’m so beautiful I should be a movie star.  I have the most brilliant green eyes!  I was rescued at about 3-1/2 to 4 months old.  I was scared and shy at first but I worked with my foster Mom and did really well adjusting to their home and other animals.  I now trust my foster Mom completely….she can do anything to me and I just keep purring.  I like to hunt her down just to crawl into her lap and play and purr or ride on her shoulders.  I am now playing with my small doggy foster siblings and older cat foster siblings, and I love my kitty toys.  I can play for hours.  I'm still a bit nervous about the big dog, but I’m even getting used to him.  I would do well with older children and adults. I would dearly love a forever family to love and cuddle with (I even give kisses).
