Felix spent almost 2 years in the shelter before going to Camp Merricks to foster. At Camp he meets lots of dogs of all types and sizes. He loves to play and is good with both large and small dogs. When introduced to cats at the shelter he avoided them.He enjoys his soft bed in his crate and loves to put his head on his foster mom's shoulder and snuggle. He is affectionate and doesn't know a stranger.Felix is middle aged but still has a lot of energy to go hiking or camping. He has a typical ground voice, but has learned to stop when told to do so. Willa and Watson (siblings) came from the Brookhaven pound. We saw them on Face Book. The Brookhaven pound was going to put these puppies down because they were so shy. They couldn’t find a rescue group to take them. We decided to help them. They are super sweet, but they are very shy. Walter is not as shy as Willa. They feel very comfortable in their environment, but when taken to the vet, they do get nervous. They do respond to love, but they need somebody that will spend time with them. Because we are so overcrowded, they have never had an opportunity to live in the house. They were heavily bonded at the foster’s house, and they loved to play together. The foster did not spend any time with them, but the children played with them some in the fenced in area. They play well with other dogs, but they have never been around cats. Since they have been at Blue Ribbon Kennels, they have been in separate kennels for the past 13 months. They both need a special home with somebody that will spend a lot of time loving them, giving them a lot of attention and being patient with them. Plese help Willa, and maybe even consider adopting both of them! Willa and Watson are in Mississippi. Rescue Riders is a very reliable pet transport and will transport Willa to her new home. This is included in the adoption fee
