Story
Lola is a gorgeous beagador. She is little over a year. She has some anxiety due to her being abused as a puppy. She needs help with that, it’s been a work in progress. She needs to get out and be active, get to interact with other dogs, and people. We’ve been trying to get her out of the bored barking/ barking at people knocking, but it is a process. She’s a very loving and affectionate dog, who loves attention and playing. We work a lot more than before, so tending to Lola is harder because we are away for so long and we don't believe that’s fair to her. I would like her to be adopted by someone who can tend to her needs, where I know she’ll be taken care of and be the most healthy and happiest girl dog ever.

Story
Joey was found running the streets of San Antonio. Just one more in a long list of dogs that get lost and end up in the shelter or if they are lucky they get picked up and taken to a rescue. Joey is one of the lucky ones. He was not neutered and did not have a microchip. Too many dogs are lost this way. The finder’s reported on many platforms but owners never came forward. The finders went so far as to go door to door in the neighborhood where he was found with no luck. Joey is now neutered and microchipped! He had been examined by our vet, heartworm tested and vaccinated as well. Now he just needs to find the perfect family that will care for him and provide him with the love and devotion he deserves! But don`t let my laid-back attitude fool you - once I get to know you, I can be the most loving and loyal companion you`ve ever met.One of my favorite things to do is go for walks that lead to new smells and adventures. It`s like every step is a new opportunity to explore the world and discover something new. And if you really want to get my attention, just bring along some tasty treats. I can`t resist a good snack!Believe it or not, I`m a lot smaller than you might think. But what I lack in size, I make up for in heart. And when it comes to riding in a car, I`m an absolute pro. I love feeling the wind in my fur and watching the world go by outside.Ask anyone who knows me and they`ll tell you what a good boy I am. I walk beautifully on a leash and always listen to the humans that I know and trust. I may be slow and steady, but I`m also reliable and trustworthy - a true friend for life.
